In this French language storybook, Monsieur Lapin is fed up with eating carrots so he visits his neighbours, all different types of animal, to see what they eat. By the end of the story, thanks to a close shave with a fox, Monsieur Lapin realises that he likes carrots after all.

Rich in French vocabulary and set in an amusing story, this is a good book to use when teaching the French names of different animals in KS1 and can be built on to incorporate any previous learning in colours.

This book came out in the late 80s and while some things age well, this book did not. After I finished reading it I literally said, "What a stupid book". The illustrations are awful and the story lacks a good story. I didn't like how Rabbit's question toward the whale was left unanswered and just overall, not a great book. Would not recommend at all.
