Touches on the idea and history of Labor Day at a very early/low reading level. It's a nice tool that could be used in the classroom, but just as a starting point. If I used it with students, I'd have them research more, or I'd introduce more details. There's just not enough here, and I think there would be questions from the students who would want more info.

I usually do not go for non-fiction, but I liked this book a lot. I read it on Labor Day, so it was perfect!
