In twelve sentences, a dog, a cat and three mice work together to open the refrigerator. What a feast they have!

What I thought: This book is hilarious. I love how the author structures his sentences ("In the first sentence" and so on). The structure is humorous, but it also makes readers aware of the sentences in the book. The illustrationd suit the story perfectly.

A story told in twelve sentences - you are invited to count along. A cat comes across a situation and needs some help. A dog and a some mice come to the cat's aid, and in the end, the objective is reached!

Really fun illustrations.

Cute story told in 12 sentences! Great way to get reluctant readers to take interest in a story. Also a great opportunity for inferencing.

Either this book was written to seem cute or it was to introduce the concept of sentences. I can't tell which. The whole thing is a bit unwieldy.

A book using ordinal numbers and large colorful illustrations with a fun story for little children. A recommended reader for kids who love dogs and cats and laughing.
