2.75 ALMOST ALPHA STARS
This is one of those book that sound super good in theory but the reality leaves a lot to be desired.
FOR ME THE HERO WAS A FAILED ALPHA!
We have a young girl Megan whom has always had deep feelings for her dad's friend and business partner Brian, a much older experienced man. She wants him to be her first so she sets out to seduce him. They have one passionate hookup at a fashion show.
THAT IS IT!
They both go their own way. No regrets, just thanks for the memories.
But wait what about protection!?
So of course she ends up PREGNANT!
And she tells him right away about he baby.
BRAVO GIRL!
He says he would pay for her abortion and she tells him she is keeping the baby. He says he will pay for it and let her take care of it.
She says no thanks.
"You don't want me or the baby." Moment here.
She feels that he would grow to recent her and the baby if she pushed the whole situation on him. (She is the mature one in this relationship clearly)
However, I think she should have taken his money!
He is experienced, he should have used protection.
THE END! HE SHOULD KNOW BETTER!
AND HE JUST LET IT GO...while she is having the worst pregnancy ever.
He watches her suffer and DOES NOTHING.
She is being abused at work he does NOTHING!
A complete FAILED ALPHA FOR ME.
They don't have a relationship so it's completely understandable that he goes out with other women. However, it pissed me off that he was going to sleep with that model Amanda if it was not for Megan showing up at his place.
ASSHOLE! You get a young girl pregnant and you just move on to another girl, cause hey "I tired."
TRY HARDER JERK!
Eventually he finally mans up he tell his friend and her father:
"I'm all in with this, Tom. I love her."
"You knock her up and you want to tell me you love her?" I pushed through. "I didn't when it happened but I've been spending more time with her and I do. I've fallen in love with her. She's a stunning person and she will be a great mother."
Well it took you long enough to figure that out!
For me this book is just Okay. Good for what it was, a story of an older guy and a young woman.
It's worth a read but not a reread and it's not a keeper for me.
As it just left me feeling...

This was a quick book to read but it was only an okay read for me as there wasn’t really any chemistry between them and it was a bit too quick in regards to the relationship. I feel like it would of been higher rated if things didn’t move so fast but I like the authors writing style so would like to try some of their other work. This book may of not been for me but it might be for you.

Interesting story but lacked chemistry between the two. I wish there was more between Megan and Brian. Short read and easy but had grammar/spelling issues which was hard for me to get passed.

Huh. What did I just read? Both protagonists were a disappointment with me. The male lead should have been more of an alpha. He really was like going with the flow not really a man who knew what he actually wanted. And the female lead should have been just more intelligent if she was going to seduce and have sex with the known manwhore manslut silverfox.

Not good. I read it as it's short and I was just looking for a quick story to keep me entertained for a few hours. This wasn't it. Because it's so short it's totally unrealistic. None of the characters are very likeable. Certainly not one to reread ever again.

The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because of missing words and some punctuation issues other than that, this was a really good book I enjoyed the characters I just wish there was a little more to the story to me it was a little short not enough time to get to know the characters.

This was a short read and I did enjoy it. I just felt like it could have had more in it. Don't get me wrong it the characters were very lovely, but there wasn't really any chemistry between them when it all started.
