February 2, 2023leaving this unrated because, while i am a language learner, i'm not an educator and cannot speak to the effectiveness of the book's teaching methods!
but as a learner, i do feel as if my Swedish pronunciation is better after going through these audio lessons. it defs helped with a few of the vowel sounds not found in English (though the sj, tj, hj, and kj sounds are still a mystery to me) and i would love to continue with the lessons should my library ever get an expanded textbook.
nothing new for me in terms of vocab, as i've been learning swedish for the better part of3yrs at this point. would defs recommend to newer learners!

Five stars for Pimsleur, zero stars for only being a compact course. Can't wait for the Comprehensive version to come out!

I got this audio-book from the library, but apparently, there is a reading book that comes with it. I wanted audio only so after a few CDs I decided to through in the towel.
