Hugh and Jem work together as a team for the ESRB. Hugh's just a regular ex-cop, but Jem always knows the odds — of anything — and he's always right. It certainly hasn't made his life any easier. Working for the ESRB has its challenges, such as when trying to track down Martin, a powerful empath who doesn't want to be found. Martin also happens to be the one person who might just make Hugh and Jem face the suppressed attraction between them. Knowing the odds can't always protect two men from danger, though — and their fledgling relationship will be soon put to a terrible test. A Men of the ESRB story 50,000 words low a Men of the ESRB novel gay paranormal romance The Extra Sensory Regulatory Bureau rates talented individuals like empaths and clairvoyants. They have special gifts — and often some extra burdens that go along with them. The ESRB takes care of its own, but these guys still have a lot to figure out about life — and love. Stay tuned for more tales from the men of the ESRB.

It’s not a very long story... but it is a really sweet story about Jem and Hugh...two ESRB agents who are tasked to track down and help, and hopefully recruit, a powerful empath...Martin. Martin proves to be quite elusive and when he pointily makes it know he doesn't want to be found, Jem and Hugh really have no choice but to forget and give up. Making people forget is Martin’s talent. That sure would be useful in everyday life. I thought at first that Martin was a bad guy...but he just wished to be left alone and not use his talent if he could help it. Martin did suggest though that they could help a man that had the talent to kill with a single touch. Finding and helping people like this is what ESRB does. The characters of Jem and Hugh are so likable. I became quickly fascinated with Jem’s talent of predicting the percentage odds of almost anything and everything. For someone, like me, that absolutely sucks at math, I found that ability amazing. Hugh’s main job is to protect and look out for Jem. The way he handled that was quite endearing. The only thing...other than how shot the story was concerning the “sticky situation” they somehow managed to get themselves tied up in could have/should have been a bigger part of the storyline. I was also curious about Martin and Colin's relationship. Perhaps another book???

KNOW is a wonderful story about Jem and Hugh, two ESRB agents who are tasked to track down and help/possibly recruit a powerful empath, Martin. Martin proves to be quite elusive and when he pointly makes it known he doesn't want to be found Jem and Hugh realy have no choice but to forget and give up . Jem and Hugh's job isn't without danger though and they find themselves in a very sticky situation after taking up a case that Martin has suggested they take.

This is the first ESRB I've read and I'll definitely go back to read the first three. I'm also looking forward to any future ESRB stories. Jem and Hugh were very likable characters and I enjoyed seeing their relationship flourish and all their interactions. Jem's precog ability was cool and Hugh looking out for him was quite endearing and sweet. The sticky situation they somehow managed to get tied up in was interesting but I wish there had been a bigger impact in that portion of the story.

I was very curious about Martin and Colin's relationship. I'm hoping the author will write their story next.

Way better than the two previous books!! I was disappointed when i was introduced to Jem's talent but once i've seen him in action, i just love it!!! I really like this couple and want to read more about Martin and Colin.
I was hard to rate this book because it was good, especially compared with the previous one as i've said, but when i put 4 starts, it means i feel like i will want to read the book again and even if -i repeat- i liked this book, i don't think i will... So i put 3 START but it should be higher!
(I would love to be able to rate from 0 to 20 to be able to rate a book with more precision...)

Hugh and Jem make a cute couple in this book. Jem is a sweet vulnerable psychic that can read the odds of something happening which is a different sort of talent then normal. Hugh is the steady strong partner keeping Jem centered so he can do his work. There is also a little side romance going on with the high powered Martian from the previous book that I can't help but wonder how it actually works. The plot is similar to the first two books that I've read in this series of the "bad guys" that remain pretty much vague and ill-defined kidnap Jem for his talents. Like the last two books I've read this book also spends a great deal of time in Hugh's head and spends alot of time just narrating through what is happening with the characters instead of showing me through scenes and dialogue so I did feel a little bored at times.

This was a new series for me and I was slow to get into it. When I did, I absolutely loved it. It's got action, adventure, humor, and gay male romance.

Hm. Why am I feeling sad? They did get their happy ending, but somehow it felt like a loss.
