The articles presented in this book give a fairly well-rounded view of writing assessment for the beginning student. Many of the articles will lead to further research if the reader is unfamiliar with the terms or history of writing assessment, which I feel is a good thing. Also, the authors and editors of this book are some of the best scholars in this area.
A collection of articles on writing assessment. Most were useful. I particularly enjoyed the articles which analyzed the historic progression of assessment theory. I wish there were more recent articles included.
