Timely, well done women military stories.
"A Military Affair" by Lovelace. Tess Hamilton is an elite "Raven" of the Air Force on a recovery mission of a missing WWII pilot on an island in the South Pacific when she meets reporter Peter Quinn who's following terrorist arms deals for al Queda.
"Comrades in Arms" by Lindsay McKenna. Morgan Trayhein sends a co-worker, Capt. Tara McCain to Afghanistan weeks after the twin towers. There's attraction but they manage to control themselves until they get home - putting the mission ahead of their own needs.
"An Unconditional Surrender" by Candace Irvin. Capt. Danielle Stanton resents the attention her General father gave Capt. Jack Gage growing up. Years later they're both undercover in Croatia and the finally resolve their past issues and fall in love.

Candace Irvin's story was my favorite - a horrifying topic (sex slave trafficking) handled beautifully and with believable romance.
