When Danica Cameron meets Creed McBride, the last thing she wants to do is get involved with a bull rider. Men who willingly put themselves in that kind of danger aren’t for her. It didn’t matter that he was mouthwateringly hot and she was more than attracted to him.
Creed wants Danica from the moment he spots her after a bull riding event. She’s beautiful, sexy, and intelligent. Her attempts at putting him off only make him want her more.
Danica finds she can’t resist Creed’s cowboy charm and soon she finds herself falling for him. That is until something so emotionally devastating happens that she knows she can never trust him again.
Cheyenne McCray fell in love with reading and writing early, deciding in kindergarten that one day she would become an author. Today, she is an award-winning New York Times and USA Today bestselling fiction author who’s sold millions of books worldwide. Having published more than 100 novels and novellas in contemporary and paranormal romance, urban fantasy and romantic suspense, she is now also writing cozy mysteries as Deb Ries.
Chey grew up on a ranch in southeastern Arizona and delights in creating stories of suspense, love, and redemption with characters and worlds her readers can get lost in. Chey and her equally geeky husband live with their two dogs, six ducks (the neighborhood celebrities), and a small flock of chickens in a small Arizona town where she enjoys gardening, crazy quilting and, of course, writing.

Getting through these stories really quick. Like this author's cowboy stories so far. Love the cowboy characters and their wives. Good storylines too. 4☆
Danica Cameron, the only Cameron girl. Protected and loved by all her brothers and in no hurry to bring a man home to them. God knows, they will only run him off, again.
Creed McBride, hot, bull-riding, cowboy. Exactly what Danica is NOT looking for. She could never date a bull-rider, too dangerous for her. But, will Creed just let her walk away from him? Danica is making a life for herself away from the confines of Arizona and the watchful eyes of the Cameron Brothers in San Diego. A week-end trip to Vegas with her girlfriend puts her right in the sites of Creed and enrages her ex-boyfriend, Barry. But, Danica wants nothing to do with a bull-rider or an obsessed ex-boyfriend. Creed will not take NO for an answer – he’s a persistent man and usually gets what he wants. After sending her tickets to his next Rodeo in her home-town, sparks fly and Danica finally gives in to her feelings for Creed. And, Barry get’s madder.
Cheyenne McCray just loves having past boyfriends causing trouble for our heroine’s. Barry is no exception. He doesn’t get as violent as in previous books but boy is he manipulative and I love when Creed throws him out of her apartment. But, then there is Danicas girlfriend, Kelsey and Darryl Thompson, another bull-rider – and the violence is abundant here. Sorry, don’t like abusers, but, then they weren’t the center of attention in this book, just a by-line but, it’s because of Kelsey that she meets Creed so we have to tolerate it.
I really enjoyed Roses and Rodeo. Creed and Danica were wonderful together. There was lots of fun when she met his family and even more when Creed finally met the Cameron Brothers. They welcomed him into the family much to Danica’s surprise. The ending in this book was wonderful. So romantic and not anything that you would think Creed would do. Danica’s HEA was beautiful!
I felt it was rushed especially with Danica and Creed's relationship as well as the drama with her closest friend and her abusive boyfriend and lastly with Berry Danica's ex who will not leave her alone. Short read to much going on.
what a cute story to wile away a weekend when the days are wet, windy and cold .... this is another episode in the Cameron's Clan of life! The young generation are experiencing what it's like to be an adult and finally find their soulmates. I enjoyed a look at the lives of Danica's four older brothers but in this story it's her turn in the journey of finding love. With a much loved job as university researcher for animal breeding, why would she get involved with a bull rider, who risks his life riding for a few seconds on top of a killer beast? But it is to Creed McBride that has caught her eye and her heart. Who could resist that cowboy charm and the body of a well tuned Adonis .... However, deep down she is longing for the ranch style family life that her brothers now have, but can Creed give up chasing the Bull Riding Championship before it severely injures him or kills him? a very enjoyable read!
I'd really like to give this one 3.5 stars. This is a good romance between Danica and Creed. I appreciate that McCray shows how hard it is for Danica to overcome her fear for bull-riding to let her emotions for Creed win. In addition to that, there was the stalky-ex boyfriend, though I thought there was a missed opportunity to do more with him and have him be more of an actual threat/danger to Danica. Also, I'm not sure why she brought in the best friend and abusive boyfriend as they didn't really seem to go anywhere or add to Danica's story in a meaningful way. I was expecting the boyfriend to threaten Danica but that never really happened. I think it was another missed opportunity (unless McCray was introducing the friend and setting her up for her own story later . . . ). But overall, a quick, fun read and a nice addition to the series.
I love reading romance books. Those about modern 'cowboys' not so much. Amazon suggested this book. I thought why pick a book in the middle of a series? I will never say Amazon is right... I am eating crow. Thank goodness it is figuratively because I am a vegetarian.
Great read. Definitely recommend. It had a powerful message in the story. I'm not saying what it is, you have to read it.
Quantity: 🔥🔥 Quality: 🔥🔥 Characters: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Danica had some issues but I liked creed Writing / plot: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ There were some parts that were suppperrrr cringy: 1. The bff being a defensive bitch about being abused by some dude she’d known for .5 seconds 2. The way Danica talks to men as if she’s a badass who would literally kick their asses when in reality she’s just being a dumb fuck (ex: if you’re threatening a man who has no issue beating women, you’re going to lose.)
This is a great cowboy romance! This is not the first time I've read one of this author's books. As always the amazing characters and the location draw you into their stories. If you love Cowboys and the women who are falling for them this is a book you will enjoy! Plenty heat and happy endings. Looking forward to reading more from this Author and adding her books to my library.
Danica went with her friend Kelsey to Vegas to see Kelsey's boyfriend ride a bull. While at the bar later a fellow bill rider Creed had in intrigued her. When she puts him off after dancing it ends there until he see her at the airport. There he finds they are both from Arizona. It's a slow process because she doesn't like the fear of injury. Slow but beautiful.
Good, light reading. I enjoyed the interaction between the main characters and that the heroine had strength and standards. She was a good friend even when knowing that her actions would cause her friend to be angry.
The hero was swoon worthy. Nuff said.
Good story and just what I needed for a rainy Saturday.
This quick read us about a rodeo bull rider and a woman who doesn't want to be with someone in such a dangerous profession. This is a lesson in compromise in order to accept what makes your loved on happy. A bit of page filler with avoidance and not answering phones but not enough to vfc ruin the story. Well worth reading.
Danica Cameron goes to a rodeo with her friend, who is crushing on a cowboy. Danica insists there is no way she'd ever be interested in a guy who risks the kind of injuries bull riders face, but then she meets Creed McBride. Creed is immediately interested in Danica and slowly convinces her to take a chance on him. This was a short and sexy story - not a lot to it, but fun to read!
Was an okay Cowboy read. Characters were okay. Creed I liked more than Danica, who seemed a but of a ditherer. Allowed her ex to keep bugging her without really doing something about it. That said an okay read.
What a cute short read. You never know where you will find love even if your not looking for it. This is the first book by this author that I have read. Loved it. Now to read the series from start to finish.
this was quite a nice book to read, though for me there was something just lacking for it to totally engage me. The story was great, though I felt a little disconnected from the characters - perhaps because it was not in 1st person - not sure. But still got me to look at other books by this author.
This was a really great book. Love the story line and the intense love scenes. The author knows how to keep your interest and makes you feel like you're in the story. Will definitely check out other books from this author.
Expertly written with some beautiful characters. Centers around bull riding, a very dangerous sport in the rodeo world. There is sexual content. A very beautiful story.
I love reading Cheyenne McCray's books. Creed a bull rider, Danica, wants nothing to do with, cowboy's and bull riders. How Danica fought with herself to stay away from Creed, but the more she fought, the more he wanted her.
Meh, it was ok, nice, sweet, little bit of angst which didn't drag out and then it finished. Easy to read, nothing spectacular but a nice way to spend a couple of hours.
This was a quick read of 136 pages. I enjoyed the characters and their streaky attraction to each other. It ended in a HEA continuing onto other characters in different books.
What a cute little story! I do love a good cowboy book! Nice easy read. I liked the way everyone was identified so there were no questions as to who everyone was and how they belonged. The author did a good job of that.
These two are fantastic and this author keeps me interested from beginning to end. I have read all the books in the series so I am familiar with the families and I love how these two bring their big personality families together. Great book!
