Packed full of all the behind the scenes deets on how the clones were established, the sets, the makeup/hair/costumes, the filming and the how to of the clone scenes. Unfortunately it only covers the first four seasons, with the fifth and final season alluded to but no information.

If you're a fan it's great. Heaps of photos and details, insights on the clones and various other characters.

If you're looking at this and you still haven't watched the show: What the hell is wrong with you?!

Because Orphan Black is amazing, simply put. You haven't lived until you've seen the great Tatiana Maslany playing two, three or even four clones in one scene.

Unfortunately, this book seems to have been published around the time when Season 4 was just released and/or when the writing for Season 5 had been started, so the book doesn't tell the entire story of the series and some of the final elements aren't explained or delved into yet. I'll never understand why they do that so often: Why not wait another year? But fine. Thankfully, this book gives more of a general insight without looking in-depth at the story lines themselves, so there's probably not too much to miss.

The characters and how they're created form the main part of the book, with interviews with all the major players, on- and off-screen. I always love those behind-the-scenes looks and getting a picture of what it all looks like on set.
Apart from all the characters, there are a couple of chapters dedicated to the genesis of the TV series, the sets themselves and CGI and such (especially for the multi-clone scenes).

Be prepared to have your mind blown.

Really interesting book on each clone's background story, the show's storyline, how a lot of the scenes were shot, etc. This goes up to the last season (5). Amazing how much thought is put into getting every little detail just right. Makes me miss this show all over again.

So ready for the series finale tonight. Very interested as to how they will wrap up this awesome show. Would be interested in seeing an addendum to this book when season 5 ends.
