Always enjoy Fodor's and Frommer's Travel books, lonely Planet and Rick Steve's. Usually buy an older edition and leave behind in the country I am visiting. As a travel agent of 25 years, I just like keeping up. Good stuff.

I was really overwhelmed planning our France trip, and while I’m not sure this book helped quell feelings of being uncertain and lost (so to speak), it provided a ton of good info. Going back through my highlights now, I can see all of the information that we ended up using jump off the pages. We went to 3 different locations in France and it was really helpful for orientation, maps, sights and activities. We also (ripped out and) used the helpful tips in the back of the book with common phrases and map.
