Follow the Trail Minibeasts is a brilliant board book for young children which is perfect to learn a bit about insects and practice hand eye coordination by following the trails.
The children loved this book and getting involved by following the trails. The trails cover most of the page and on some pages have more than one. The raised and glittery lines are appealing to the children and they couldn't wait to each take a turn. This is great to keep them engaged in the book and help with hand eye coordination skills. Some are also shapes around a picture which is a nice way to add learning shapes with this book too.
Each page is focused on one insect, a bee, butterfly, ladybird etc. and has a photo of that insect and some facts. The facts are great for young children as they're not too much information but also help the children learn something from the book.
The book is strong as a board book which makes it great for toddlers as it won't be so easy to damage which is important with the interactive feel to this book. The children loved this book and being able to get involved, lots of fun and educational too.
