I read this in the Whispered Secrets anthology.
Silk Scarves and Seduction
This is a sequel of sorts to Whipped Cream and Handcuffs about Tessa’s best friend Valery “Blush” Taylor and Caleb’s best friend Dr. Marc Ford, who have acted like sworn enemies since high school, even though they have both secretly lusted after and loved the other for years. Caleb’s successful seduction of Tessa gives Blush a wicked idea of how to tease Marc, by sending mysterious packages with erotic photography of her and sexy silk scarves. But how will she respond when her plan for anonymity is foiled and Marc shows up, with her silk scarf in hand, intent on seducing her? This is another smokin’ hot story, and Marc is just flat-out too delish to be true. I mean seriously, a sweet pediatrician with Matthew McConaughey good looks, who’s also a master in the bedroom...y-u-m-m-y!

I got this book by the author for an honest review and it was fun, short and extremely sexy.

These two have known each other since forever and they seem to hate each other most of the time, but theirs is a hate - crazy love kind of story and even though it seemed far fetched at first, they are perfect for each other.
The secret admirer mystery gives the book a sexy vibe and we can picture just how hot the photos are.
The sex scenes are amazing ! My personal favourite was the one in the kitchen, yeah I love those type of surprises.
Overall a good and entertaining book.

This sexy novella ( a rerelease) tells the story of Marc and Valery (who Marc has nicknamed Blush, as she blushes easily). It's an enemies to lovers story, two high school friends who had crushes on each other but never went any further, instead having relationships with other people. But when Marc found out that Valery's boyfriend was cheating on her, his method of showing her the evidence not only broke her heart, but it made him the enemy too. Years later, Marc is a doctor and a mutual high school friend Tessa works with him - and Tessa just happens to still be best friends with Valery. Once again she's back in his life. But this time, maybe they can get over what happened in high school and make a new start.
There was lots to love in this story! Enemies to lovers trope is a favourite of mine, so that piqued my interest, plus the author always has well-written, sexy love scenes that I enjoy. There have been little hints throughout the years that these two haven't totally forgotten each other, and while in public they are quick to engage in sharp conversations, there comes a point where the cards are on the table, and next thing you know, these two are having a steamy affair. I liked the progression of the story, and there is a bit of rocky ground to cover before the happy ending. But they get there and I was very satisfied with how it all worked out. 4 stars!

This little story is flat out sizzling hot. I highly recommend it for the steam factor alone. I promise you, you won't be disappointed.
This is a short story. Blush and Marc have known one another since grade school. But in high school, he thought he was helping her and instead broke her heart and humiliated her. She's never forgiven him and they've been at one another's throats ever since. But all that contentious energy is actually covering attraction and lust...for both of them.
And then secret admirers happen and both characters become inspired...and the sexy times begin. And I loved every single moment of reading it. There's not a lot of character development, but because these two have basically known one another their entire lives, the story doesn't lack because of that. I thought it was an awesome, sexy, sweet little read and I think you'll like it too. I challenge you to not fall in love with Marc...he's a pediatrician with a soft spot for kids and that comes through every interaction...even his sexy ones...and that makes him so swoon-worthy!

What a shame! I absolutely loved Whipped Cream and Handcuffs and couldn't wait to read this, but I just couldn't really connect with the characters here.
I didn't buy what kept these two apart. They are both pretty daring in their behaviour but struggled to recognise eachothers feelings up until now. It just didn't add up for me.
Despite this, the love scenes were hot...and, my goodness, Marc has a delightfully dirty mouth which I loved!!

This is a re-read for me and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it. Marc and Valery (Blush) have finally come to their breaking points and after so many years of what can only be described as foreplay when they come together it is nothing if not combustible. Does not mean it is all smooth sailing? Of course not, these two could not be that easy. It was a fun read.

This is a fast paced steamy read. I loved the chemistry between Marc and Valery, high school crushes turned enemies reunite. I liked the story and the sex scenes were hot. I really liked it!
