The Trouble With Lust by T.M. Cromer is a must read book, especially if you read and loved the first book of this series. Ms Cromer has done an outstanding job of weaving The Trouble With Lust around the happenings of Burning Resolution. That being said, this book can easily be read as a standalone also. Shonda and Mason's story has plenty of suspense, action, humor and sexy bits. For me, the characters were the best part of the book. Sometimes fun, sometimes annoyingly lovable but always entertaining and a perfect fit for this book. I loved reading The Trouble With Lust and look forward to T.M. Cromer's next book. The Trouble With Lust is book 2 of the Workout World Series but as I said, can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

I loved this book. Ms. Cromer brings another excellent book. In the series of Workout World..This is #2
When Shonda goes on a trip of fun in the sun she doesn't expect to meet hunky Mason Sharp going to the same place she's headed. A little trouble on the plane has them both looking for some extra fun. But when they get to St. Thomas things get heated, plus a lift!e dangerous.
Mason likes that Shonda is on the same page as him. A little casual fling while there in tropical paradise. What he doesn't expect is someone is after Shonda. He'll protect her anyway he can.
The danger doesn't stop. It gets worse on there return home.
Shonda knows Mason wanted a casual thing when they were in St. Thomas, but she can't stop thinking about him.
Mason wants more for a little while. Shonda wants more, and he can't do that. Well see what happens between them.
Highly recommend. It will keep you on the edge of your seat.

That is until he meets Shonda Grant, a feisty strong woman who has never felt truly loved.
Sparks fly when they have a holiday romance, but drama ignites when Mason can't bring himself to let her go nor commit to her.
Throw in a stalker, and a lot of brooding jealousy and this book gives us enough juice to exceed your 5 a day.
I loved this and cannot wait to see where this series go, hoping Dane's story is next.

Mason, Mason, Mason!! WOW What a DOUCHE you can be!! I mean we got a glimpse of it during Zach’s book but man o man can you hurt a woman!! Valentine’s Day ….REALLY!!!!????? *sigh*
This book is a cross over from book 1 in scenes so if you haven’t read book 1 you can totally read this and understand what happened in book 1. It also didn’t make me annoyed at the overlay from the previous book like some books can because we are getting a new view of the story.
So Shondra and Mason end up sitting by each other on the plane to their vacation. They have an instant love-hate kinda thing that turns into a fun fling. Mason is up front that one night is all he is going to give and Shondra is ok….at first. As the vacation goes we can see Mason warring with himself over his attraction and need for Shondra but his past prevents him from trying to move forward with her His past has him in cement boots.
Shondra is one of the most amazing characters you can read. She is funny, independent and kind but she is so lonely. She is in need of a one true love to be with her and stay with her. She has never been had anyone to love her unconditionally except her best friend Erica.
This book has me so angry at Mason and wanting to hire his brother Dane to castrate him. It also made me want to push Shondra to Dane because is a great guy. He is a guy who could love her and be the one but we all know …the heart wants what the heart wants and Shondra’s heart wants Mason. When Shondra has had enough and walks away, it killed me and her but when Mason realized his girl was gone……Oh man did I love how she has found her spirit again to put him in his place!!!
The mystery in this book was great. The twists and turn combined with the drama from book 1 had you wondering when the bullets would stop flying. When it all shook out in the end and we see and find out WHY everything was happening I realized I could finally BREATH for a second!! I loved this book and prolly a little bit more then book 1 because the emotional torture Mason puts us in is worth the ride…plus seeing him fall was even more worth it.

I loved this book :) From the first book, you know Mason and Shonda have a complicated relationship, but we don't find out too much. I really loved their characters from Burning Resolution so I was excited to read their story in The Trouble With Lust.
Mason is a player. Ever since he got his heart broken when he was younger, he has always closed the door on any type of relationship other than no strings attached sex. When he meets Shonda on the plane to St. Thomas, he's drawn to her, but immediately put up his walls and tells her point blank I don't do relationships. Shonda is taken in by him, and against her better judgement she agrees that she won't seek more from him, but as you know in romance novels...... it never works out that way. Shonda starts to develop feelings for him that she tamps down and hides. She knows if she lets onto her feelings he will go running.
Mason has no idea what is happening with him. He refuses to acknowledge anything he is feeling for Shonda at all costs, pushing her away in the process. When it seems like Shonda has someone after her, he knows he must protect her at all costs, but he still can't bring himself to face his feelings. Will anything force him to see reason and accept he might have feelings for her?
This book was a quick fun read that kept me on my toes and had me reading non stop. I loved the push and pull between Shonda and Mason. Shonda never took any of Mason's crap and would be quick to put him in his place when he was being a jerk. (And he could be a jerk a lot of the time lol) Like the first book, the danger in the plot was a little over the top, but I didn't care as much because I loved Mason and Shonda's relationship so much. It was super sweet at the end.
I highly recommend this book, it was addicting, and I read it all in one sit down :) You won't be disappointed!

Omg, where do I start, because no matter what I write I won't do justice to this delicious book!
This is the second book in the series, about three brothers and their Work Out World business. Burning Resolution was the first with Zack and Erica.
This second book is about Mason and Shonda, Erica's bestie. Just a hint, even though you can read these as stand alone why would you want to miss all the action? So, as always Ms. Cromer has the uncanny talent to grab you and pull you in from page one. With that being said, the story, the characters, the dialogues, the sexy scenes, the chemistry between Mason and Shonda is amazing. Emotions run high and low, lol moments to omg moments.
I don't do spoilers, but I have to give you one of my favorite lines "climbing on the Mason Sex Train" lol I must say there were times I wanted to smack Mason, but then again if a book doesn't move your emotions why read it. So worth 5 stars, and I don't give those out lightly. Thank you Ms. Cromer for another enjoyable night of reading!

Wow, suspense and lust, what a perfect combination in this novel. Mason, one of Zack’s brothers in Burning Resolution, ends up sitting beside Shonda on the plane to his solo vacation to some hot and steamy island. He knows he should stay away from her because she is not the sort of girl to have a vacation fling but the vultures are all over her alone on the beach and someone breaks into her room and Mason’s protective instincts make it impossible for him to stay away from her.
Mason has a troubled past which adds to the story. Shonda is deeply and madly in love by the end of their vacation but terrified telling him this will just push him away faster. Meanwhile, Shonda has not a clue who could want to harm her and the violence keeps escalating making what happened to her bestie Erica seem like child’s play.
There is a lot of overlap in the timeline and stories with Burning Resolution. This novel is even better. There are spoilers so while you can read this novel on its own, if you might want to also read Burning Resolution as well, read that one first.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. 4.5 stars. I loved Shonda - Mason drove me nuts, but I really liked him, too. The author has a way of writing really good chemistry and pulling you head first through all the emotions that go with it and the normal insecurities we all have. The suspense part wraps in with suspense from the previous book, as the the timelines overlap, but there is yet another mystery for Shonda and Mason. I stayed up until 3am to finish, something I rarely do anymore. It's a roller coaster ride!

While this book is a stand alone story, there are spoilers for Burning Resolution, and I would highly recommend reading it first! That being said, I loved Mason and Shonda’s story! Oh their banter and drama made for a wild ride that I didn't want to end! Speaking of wild rides, can someone tell me where I can purchase tickets to “climb on the Mason sex train”? GROWL! There were times I wanted to beat Mason over the head, and times that I wanted to cry with Shonda. This couple truly had a Trouble with Lust. Loved it! Highly recommend!

Mason lost his love in a wreck and swore he would never love again. Shonda felt like her family didn't love her. Erica her best friend who was in Burning resolution was her family . Shonda goes to ST Thomas to get a break , ends up beside Mr Arrogant "Mason". So Mason only wants a hook up , Shinda wanting more . Mason is the one that starts chasing. Once they left ST Thomas he wa done but his brother girlfriend ended up injured and Mason goes to hospital and Bam here is Shonda who is best friends with Erica( his brother girlfriend) . This was really good! It starts out rough for the hero and heroine but gets so much better. It's got snappy dialog and it made me laugh quite a bit. I also love a good mystery and suspense! This definitely keeps you on your toes! I really enjoyed this book.

The Trouble with Lust by T.M. Cromer is a well written story filled with suspence, mystery and romance. I loved how the main characters Mason and Shonda connected with each other. This is the second book in the series, I will be going back to read the first. This will be an affair they will remember.

Action packed and hot sex scenes will keep you turning the pages! the mystery will too because she keeps you wondering and when you think you figure out who, the twist in the story takes you somewhere else. looking forward to book 3 Dane and Lacey.

I am loving this series! Shonda and Mason were supposed to be on vacation... separately, until they decided on the plane they would have a bit of fun together...no strings attached. Mason doesn't do relationships and made that clear but Shonda can't help falling for him. The heart wants who the heart wants. I really liked her character, independent and don't take no crap from anyone. I can't wait to read more! Definitely another must read. Highly recommend

Another great read
The second book I've read by T.M. Cromer and I was not disappointed, really enjoyed reading scenes from Burning Resolution from Mason and Shondra's point if view. Cannot wait to start the next one. 😄

Loved this book. I was sad when it ended, I wanted to keep reading. It was just as good as the first one and I cannot wait to read the next one. I laughed so hard reading parts of this. Another highly recommended read by T. M. Cromer!

Once again T.M. Cromer has your attention from start to finish. I loved the dynamics between Shonda and Mason. Mason wanting to be left alone and wallow in his self pities perse and Shonda wanting to have fun. they are the very definition of opposites attract. this is a can't miss read. I personally can't wait for Danes book.

This book is a very turbulent ride. Prepare yourself for a lot of ups and downs. Sometimes, I feel like both Shonda and Mason need a good smack on the back of the head to make them stop acting silly. This is not the type of relationship I enjoy reading about, but I know it is very popular right, and I am convinced that the right type of reader will enjoy this immensely.
While this book can be read on its own, this is part 2 in the series and you will get spoilers if you start with this one. So if you are interested I definitely suggest reading Burning Resolution first!

Wow! I have been anxiously awaiting this book since I read Burning Resolution, and it was well worth the wait! Ms. Cromer weaves a plot and characters so well, I could not put the book down from start to finish. This book has all the spice and sizzle you could want in a romance, with all the twists and intrigue of a great suspense. I highly recommend this book and the series!
