This 5-book series has “lighthearted, uplifting, often humorous stories meant to bring a sunburst of joy to your life – as you remember that God loves you. [The author’s] own sisters and many friends have joined in putting these stories together. Our purpose is simply to let God’s love so warm and fill you that you become warmth, light, and love to a cold, dark world.”

Each selection from this book incorporates the theme of sisters, and is written by the author, one of her sisters, or other friends who are also authors, leaders, speakers, or others who share their personal experiences and inspirational stories.

Some stories are humorous, some a bit corny, and some are touching. I read one a day as part of a devotional time, and they often helped put my life in perspective. Regardless of the outcome, all the 2-page anecdotes emphasized God’s purpose in our lives.

This would make a nice gift for a sister or a sister-like friend.

I love stories like this, the Chicken Soup for the Soul type books of happy stories that make you smile. These ones are all feel-good stories, the ones you sometimes need to start a groggy day. Like Monday. They're good Monday stories.
