This is a great, practical reference book for the complete novice, such as myself. It is not comprehensive, but it gives concise direction with helpful pictures for many useful massages that can be practised at home. It's a nice resource for some basic techniques. My favorite massages they demonstrated were the self-massage, the seated routine, the massage remedies for tired feet, travel problems, and eye strain.
