J. Collin de Plancy was a famed 19th century French occultist, demonologist, researcher and writer on supernatural topics. He published several works on occultism and demonology.

Jean-Christophe Dufau is a book author and expert translator, whose works include the first English language translation of the full text of De Plancy's Infernal Dictionary and The Amusements of Cartomancy.
