Ok so this book starts off right where book one leaves off and we continue the journey with Zoey and Brandon. The two lovers face incredible feats and I enjoyed the suspense as Zoey worked toward being stronger, and Brandon learns to quit running and go after what he needs. The two main characters were very well written, and the storyline amazing with an underlying message along the way that I happened to love! Well done Shantee Parks I can in all honesty say this book will leave quite a hangover and is more suitable for adults, but I would consider it a new adult contemporary romance. Solid 5 star book definitely worth the read!

Not Giving Up 2 picks up right where book 1 ends and gets right into it with the drama and passion!!! Shantee A Parks has given her readers a series that will not only leave them rooting for the main couple, brings back some favorites from her Samantha Posey series, but also introduces up to another couple that we want to know more about - Maya (Christie) & Mike.
I LOVED this book from the very beginning and am so happy with how this story played out. Shantee has given a little something to every type of reader...There are hot steamy scenes between Zoey and Brandon, get emotional scenes between Zoey & Ella; Brandon & his father, great friendship scenes between Zoey & Samantha; Brandon & Jacob, great action scenes from everyone, and so much more!!! This book does not disappoint at all!!!

OMG!!!
Shantee' Parks sealed the deal for me! Zoey was vindicated and she ended up with what she was suppose to have. OMG..this book brought out so many emotions. I hated for it to end. If you haven't... Please check out this series... You won't be disappointed.

Happy!!!
Waited so long for this book and I wasn't disappointed at all. This book had me laughing and ready to hurt someone!! All in my feelings and everything. Brandon and Zoey finally got their HEA!!

Twists and turns! Wow!!
Ok. I must say I didn't see a lot of this story line coming which made the book great. To think I was going to pass up reading both books. Enjoy!

I received this book as an ARC reader for my honest review. I don't want to give away the story but it was very entertaining. I loved the relationship between the two character, I loved the way they had each others back. Most importantly the love they had for one another that soul mate kind of love. I loved their circle of friends, that ride are die kind friendship who would have your back no matter what. The story had mystery and some laughter, and was glad to see that Zoey could put all her demons to rest. Kudos to you Ms. Parks great ending, although I wanted to know if that ring would ever get caught but in society we know it don't always happens.

Finally book 2 came out so we could see what happened to Zoey. I found the story held my attention and I wanted to see if Zoey knew who hurt her and all those answers came in book 2. I did find the couple frustrating at times with their inability to communicate clearly to each other how they were really feeling about the various issues facing them. However, they did not give up on each other despite all the forces working against them.

Book 1 and 2 were quite an emotional journey but in the end love conquered hate. It was great to have some of my favorite Posey characters show up and lend a hand. An incredible amount of story was told in these two books. It's hard to pick a favorite series . They are all great. I hope Mike and Maya. Nikki and Robert get a story soon

The Harvard mean girls and Martin would find that out. One can not expect to scheme in the harming of another human being without expecting retribution. Karma is a beotch that takes no prisoners.
Zoey had to fight her mental demons in dealing with being an abuse survivor. Even when Brandon was over whelmed with guilt, his love for her never dimmed and neither did Zoey's. They both had to come to the realization that their love was worth fighting for and protecting. Once they did, they were an unstoppable force that was determined to have their HEA.
Ms Parks wrote about a complicated subject of molestation and it's affects it has on its survivors. Zoey was a complicated character dealing with the aftermath of molestation and trying to make sense of her adult life with what she really wanted in life and what her reality was. Brandon knew that something was missing in his life with all of his hook ups. What he did not realize was that those hookups were catching feelings and were resentful that he wanted Zoey and not one of them. He also knew that Zoey was the one when he met her. She was what was missing in his life. She completed him and he was determined to help her see her self worth and that she was worthy of his love.
This was an interesting story that was full of drama and some unexpected surprises

This is my review and how I see it. Author Shantee' Parks in her interracial novel Not Giving Up Book 2 gives us a well-developed conclusion to this story as the two main character fight against those who don't want them together and themselves as the tragedy that happened at the end of book one begins to take its toll.
As they begin to fight for the life that they want together more will be revealed and people from the past have started to enter the picture. Will this two survive the fight or will they be forever be torn apart?

LOVED Every Minute of this book!!
I received this book ARC for an honest option!!! I LOVED this book!! I love that Brandon and Zoey did whatever they needed to be together. The writing was great!! This book will keep you on your toes and extra hot with with love sciences!! Wish there was a book 3!!!

Can’t get enough
So far I’m enjoying all these connecting books. I really enjoyed these two characters and now all my dots are connecting. Such a good little story. Once again not expecting some things going on. Looking forward to more books by this author.

Quite a Experience
I really enjoyed this captivating story with amazing characters that are enjoyable with a relationship that is entertaining and drama filled.The couple has a sizzling chemistry that burn up the pages.The story is full of discovery and some saddest.I really enjoyed this story its a must read. It makes me a fan. It has a strong and brave woman and a man who will fight for his woman. Of course their relationship is one for forever. There are interesting twists with so much excitement it will keep you on the edge of your seat. This has moment's that is hard to read because of it's nature and topic of content, but I can happy say that I enjoyed reading this series. It's intriguing and enjoyable it will keep you turning pages until the end. 'Not Giving Up' was lacking a great deal: a good storyline, interesting characters, and adequate dialogue. This book had none of those things. First, Zoey, a protagonist, was such a flawed character, that it was hard to root for her. The other protagonist Brandon was worse. He was graduating from medical school, yet he went out drinking to celebrate before he took his last exam the following day. That made no sense. Both protagonists had no chemistry. None! Also, the dialogue was sophomoric and disjointed, at best. Furthermore, where were the vivid descriptions? Overall, I didn't care for the ineffective narrative.

Child molestation is so REAL. The effects does mental and emotional damage if not properly treated with therapy. The story line had me rushing through the pages to see what happened next. Brandon is every girl's lover, friend and husband. I love this couple. ❤️
My only disappointment are the double chapters. This was not cost effective. However, the author held my interest and you would not want to put the book down until the end

Awesome! I am happy that Brandon & Zoey got their HEA! Also, some relationships have received healing for Zoey and her Mom and bestie that she grew up with. It took a while but I am happy with the ending of this story. I hope that there will be more stories that include Zoey and Brandon with the others (assassins) books as Ms. Parks writes them!

Best revenge ever
Glad the villains got what they deserved and of course the extremely HEA was a great bonus. Zoey and Brandon wanted forever it seemed to get there. Loved this story and loved that I got to read about another couple I enjoyed Jacob and Samantha.

WOW!!
This was a very good follow-up to an exciting story about two people you want to love and cheer for.The two main characters are two different people from different worlds but somehow they make it work.The writer weaves such a wonderful story the you are not going to want it too ever end!This is a story that handles a heavy subject and it is done so well.A really good romance with a whole lot of action.

Not bad
These books, mostly the last one were much better than the Posey Parks books. There is still the wild outlandish plots taking place and boy are these women brutal, lol. Talk about people getting their comeuppance.

Great Story!
Great story. Zoey is able to get over her pass and find love despite thinking she did not deserve love. A lot a people do not realize how often this happens to young children and how it affects them as adults.

Justice!!!
A fitting conclusion to all the Zoey and Brandon drama. The deaths of the Harvard B's and the pedophile, Martin. As much as I enjoyed this storyline, I deducted a star due to poor editing.

Brandon is a surprise that you weren't ready for but gives you jolts of unexpected pleasure the more time you spend with him. Brandon and Zoe's journey has a lot of detours and road hazards but its a journey worth taking every step of the way
