NEW YORK TIMES/USA TODAY BESTSELLING AUTHOR

Even though she graduated with a degree in science, Tara knew she’d never be happy doing anything other than writing. Specifically, writing love stories.

She started with a racy BDSM story and found she was not quite prepared for the unforeseen impact it would have. Nonetheless, she continued and The Submissive Series novels would go on to be both New York Times and USA Today Bestsellers. One of those, THE MASTER, was a 2017 RITA finalist for Best Erotic Romance.

Now she is focusing on new contemporary romances that allow her the freedom to write and publish on her own schedule.

This was exactly what I expected it to be. Cheesy smutty BDSM-y romance. Definitely wasn’t the worst thing I’ve ever read, ha.

This review may contain spoilers, so fair warning, upon reading the review.

For a Dom, to see his submissive waiting for him like you are? It’s a heady feeling. You’re doing more than offering yourself. You’re putting yourself in a vulnerable position. Showing your trust to your Dom. Telling him without words that for whatever time you’re together, you are putting yourself in his care.

Master Professor is the first book in the duo series “Lessons From The Rack” and this is also my very FIRST Tara Sue Me novel and I am definitely impressed with this one here. I was really curious to see how this one would go for me.. This is an author that I have seen in the blogging world for almost a decade and I have been so curious to read her, and I am finally picking her up and I really had so much fun with this one here. What impressed me even on the first page was how well the BDSM culture is handled, especially with the hero I was really overjoyed at how well it all was situated. It does have a bit of a forbidden theme to this, but I actually really love this taboo as long as adults are involved. The gist of the story here is that our heroine, Andie Lincoln, is wanting to be in a relationship with an actor, who has also been her childhood friend but has revealed to her he is a dominant. She goes to a school “RACK Academy” to learn how to be a submissive. When our hero, who is one of the top professors at the BDSM training school, hears of the situation he is highly uncomfortable, but the more interactions he has with Andie, he realizes how right it is that she has come here to embrace her submissive nature. We see how Andie starts to learn what being a submissive means and embrace this part of her.

Kiss me. Kiss me like I’ve never been kissed and kiss me so I forget every kiss except yours.

We also see a fierce connection between Andie and Fulton. There is no actual cheating in this book, as during this time, she and Terrance had agreed to open relationships until her training is over. I won’t reveal how Andie and Fulton find their way to a HEA, but it’s a beautiful journey of discovery and connection. I truly think BDSM fans will get a kick out of this one, and how well BDSM is handled. I really love BDSM in a romance because of the honest communication and trust that is so developed and necessary. I found the romance to be so touching, and the emotional intimacy that is built was so well layered and the dynamics that we see between our pair here are balanced, and seeing the work through the challenges ahead was well worth the journey. Definitely eager to continue on with book 2 and explore more of this author’s work. This story captivated me from beginning to end and I am thrilled to delve into this author’s backlist!

My new goal in life is for you to know how I feel about you and what you mean to me with everything I do and say.” He pushed deeper until he was all the way inside her. “Whether I’m taking you slowly and sweetly or riding you hard for my own pleasure, you will always be my beacon of light and my heart’s home.

I would like to thank the publisher for providing me with an advance copy of Master Professor for an honest review.

Master Professor is a great new series from Tara Sue Me. It has all the hot chemistry and spicy scenes but it is something completely different and new at the same time. It was so great to get a new series from Tara as a huge fan, it is refreshing and fun! At first I was unsure about a girl who is a virgin wanting to be trained as a submissive. I changed real quick, since the book didn’t shy away from those very issues as well and addressed them. It made me happy that it was not just something that was ignored but handled head on. In the end I think it even added to the story.

Master Professor is the first in a new series for New York Times Bestselling author Tara Sue Me and I was intrigued with the premise of this book from the moment I read the blurb.

Andie Lincoln is madly in love with her famous boyfriend and when she discovers he's a dominant she begs him to get her enrolled into the exclusive school Rack Academy. A school that teaches students how to be submissive/dominant.

With her boyfriend's crazy schedule he is unable to go with her so Andie is submissive without a dominant. Her professor Fulton Matthews wants nothing to do with teaching Andie and unfortunately for him, circumstances find him being her top.

When Andie finds herself daydreaming about her professor things start to really pick up. The chemistry between Andie and Fulton is something you grab onto right away.

The beginning was a bit slow for me but overall a great story and I totally recommend this book for those that like light BDSM stories.

I would like to present to you my exact thought process upon discovering this book:

Me *scrolling through feed*: Master Professor... hmmmm, is this a teacher/student romance? 😏

*reads blurb*

Logical Rosaline: What on God's earth is this? It sounds like pure shit!

Me: Yeah it kinda does.... but it's a BDSM teacher/student romance! 😍

LR: Be that as it may, look at all this unnecessary drama splattered around! Why is there an academy teaching people sex and why on earth does this douche send the poor girl here?! Like asshole human being much?

Me: I know, but teacher/student romance and BDSM! Two of my favorite things fused together in one book! How often does this happen?

LR: Look, the blurb is already so cringy! "We can only go so far and its time for me to let her go but I can't... and she's another man's property "! We already know what is going to happen, we've read this book 1000 times. Come on, tell me we don't hate such drama bullshit.

Me: We do, but listen... there's a teacher and his student and what looks to be a good amount of BDSM considering the whole academy situation... this is going to be juicyyyyyy!

LR: No, Rosaline, this is going to be angsty and filled with drama and just unnecessary. And you promised us only good books or books we at least think are going to be good this year! There will be much angst here and you already know it. Can't you smell it? Come on, you can smell it, you're smart. Smell it! Smell the angst!

Me *singing*: A little angst never killed nobody...

LR: You're a lost cause!

Me: Teacher/st....

LR: Fine, fine, just read it! But don't come crying to me when you're finished and mopping around about your lost brain cells.

I have to admit when I first saw this book, I had my doubts on whether or not I would enjoy it. The main reason being that Tara Sue Me has always been likened to authors like Sylvia Day and Maya Banks. She is one of the original BDSM authors. Quite a few of the original BDSM authors, I have found their work to be slow-paced. However, Master Professor by Tara Sue Me surprised me, and I loved it. It was an awesome read and in a way not too overly sexualised with the whole BDSM world. The other part which made me enjoy it more was the fact that it was a teacher/student romance and those are one of my favorite tropes to read about. In Master Professor, we meet Andie Lincoln who is dating celebrity Terrence Knight. Andie is a virgin and discovers that Terrence is a Dom and into the BDSM world. Wanting to be better for him, she is enrolled into a BDSM training academy where she meets her teacher Fulton Matthews aka Master Professor. There is a spark between Fulton and Andie, something that she hasn't felt before and as they are paired up for training sessions and become closer and closer, it is revealed that the pair care for each more than a usual Dominant/Submissive couple should. As the book goes along, we read as Andie is torn between her emotions and feelings for both Terrence and Fulton. What will happen when both guys decide to give Andie their full hearts? Who will Andie choose? Will she go with celebrity Terrence Knight or will she go for the Master Professor of BDSM - Fulton Matthews?
Find out in this awesome BDSM read that everyone should add to their Erotica BDSM reading lists for 2017.

I really struggled with this book. From the description, I thought it would be full of dirty, sexy scenes and have a good romance story. Instead, there was only a few scenes and most it was at the end. The romance was lackluster and the story took way too long to get to the point.
I will say the narration was pretty good and what steamy scenes were in this were well done.

Get lost in the world of BDSM…

A novice and a master. Learning and teaching. Protocol and rules were abundant and so were the reactions and feelings to them. Andie knew very little about BDSM but was eager to learn. Fulton was skeptical. Paired together at the RACK Academy, an elite school for kink, they were both getting an education. And so was I…

I liked a lot about this story – the writing was (as always) stellar and the characters were interesting and engaging. I have read my fair share of BDSM romance so learning from the beginning felt a bit wearing but anyone new would have enjoyed the clear laying out of expectations. The main characters fit together well and had their fair share of chemistry, contributing to the higher than high heat factor that burned throughout. While I may not have loved their romance as much as I wanted to – I liked both Andie and Fulton but didn’t connect to them the way I wanted to.

Despite that, the RACK, and the glimpses of what is to come in the series, has my attention… ~Diane, 3.5 stars

Just a few words to describe how oh-so toe-curling this book was. My-oh-my I devoured this book. 'Master Professor' intrigued me, I couldn't flip the pages fast enough. It lured me and kept me wanting more.

Terrence Knight is a Dominant, and wants his girlfriend, Andie to be trained as a submissive. So, he enrolls her in an academy that will teach her how to be just that. Terrence would teach her himself, but you see, he's a famous actor and doesn't have time due to his filming schedule. Andie loves Terrence and wants to be trained as a submissive not only because it would make Terrence happy, but also because she really wants to too.

Fulton Matthews is the director of incoming students and will be Andie's teacher. He doesn't know why she's there, he feels as though her only reason is to make Terrence happy. He doesn't believe she's there on her own accord, and that she isn't taking her stay at the academy seriously. Little does he know, the joke is on him.

At first, Andie and Fulton's relationship started off rocky, but as time went on they started to be comfortable with one another. As days go by and lessons are taught, Andie's wild side is slowly unleashed. She's a good student, but only because Master Fulton is a very good teacher. Their relationship is so damn hot you need endless amounts of water to put the fire out. Andie starts developing feelings for Fulton, but she doesn't know if it's because he's bringing out her submissive side; or if it's because she truly and deeply really likes him.

I couldn't get enough of Fulton, damn that man! He was such an alpha, but he was also charming and sweet and gahhhh I just loved him! Wouldn't mind calling him Sir a couple of times. *wink face*

I can't wait for the second book. I really need to know about certain things and certain characters.

This is one of those stories that's good, I liked it, it was a quick, fun read but it was just missing that special something for me.

I enjoyed the first half when there was an element of complication involved since Andie is at the academy being trained for someone else. I liked Andie and Fulton fighting their feelings and enjoyed that bit of conflict. I never fully got their connection even though a I liked them both as characters. They had some fun interactions. The second half was just okay and rather drawn out to me. I felt like this was a low heat kind of book. Which is totally okay, but since they were at a BDSM academy, I was just expecting a higher heat factor. It was still nice but had more of a slow burn feel to me.

Good writing and story, decent conflict and drama. It wrapped up nice and easy. I enjoyed it but could easily put it down and walk away. There was definitely a sweet, low heat, love story happening. Nice introduction to a new series. A good read if you're looking for something on the lighter side that’s not to taxing. So, good. :-)

Master Professor begins a brand new series from Tara Sue Me. I’ve been a huge fan of her Submissive series for years and I was intrigued at what direction she’s go with this one. You won’t be disappointed if you’d hoped for more BDSM (the title should make this obvious). Andie Lincoln is an aspiring chef dating one of Hollywood’s elite actors, Terrence Knight. She discovered early on in the relationship that Terrence is a Dominant. Unfortunately, Andie has no experience with kink in the bedroom, but she thinks she can rise to the occasion and become what Terrence hopes: his submissive. Sometimes it’s who you know and Andie manages to land a spot training at a remote island BDSM facility. Her arrival is met with some skepticism by Fulton Matthews, director of incoming students and Dominant. Thousands of applications were passed up to offer Andie her spot and he wants Andie to prove that she deserves her place among the recruits. When Andie’s assigned Dom-trainee parter leaves unexpectedly, the numbers are uneven and Fulton takes the opportunity to partner with her. Working in such close proximity might be a bad idea...Andie finds her submissive desires are fanned by Fulton in ways she never imagined, making her question whether Terrence is really who she needs.

I will admit that when I read the premise of Master Professor, I was a little disappointed. I find myself drawn to academic kinksters and the title deceived me a little. The premise of a BDSM training facility has been well done, especially in classic BDSM literature, from The Story of O to The Marketplace. I prepared myself for something a bit cliché. I have to admit, however, that Me never disappoints me when I get down to the story itself. While the overreaching premise or plot may be something we’ve seen before, what drew me into the story was the depth of emotional attachment between Andie and Fulton. Their chemistry was intense and this made for some play scenes that held my full, undivided attention. There isn’t an overwhelming about of sex in this book. It’s spaced very sparsely. But what we do get is blistering hot. It has everything to do with the way Me constructs her sex scenes. There’s no awkwardness, no squishy language, and there’s enough unique and novel play to make you gasp a little. I found the emotional connection to be genuine and Andie’s confusion to be understandable. Fulton remained and still remains a bit of a mystery to me. We get a little of his difficult past explained to us. He caused Andie enough heartache at times to make me genuinely pissed at him, but he did make up for it in the end. Things came together a little too quickly for my tastes, but all in all, this was a very enjoyable and quick read. It’s not too too heavy on the BDSM and therefore good for novices.

Master Professor hit all my romance buttons and keep me reading non-stop to the end.

I love a great D/s romance but when you through in a forbidden elemental into it, it’s all more enjoyable. Tara Sue Me does this with the first book, Master Professor, in her Lesson From the RACK series. I really enjoyed how Andie and Fulton’s relationship slowly built with a slow burn that lead up to a HEA.

Andie is a 23 year-old virgin (I know but trust me it’s not a huge issue) who is in love with her best friend, Terrence. He is a big Hollywood actor and off on location a lot. They have been friends for years and their friendship has slowly moved into the romantic area. Before they take their relationship to the next level he tells Andie that he is a Dom. She’s stocked and researches the lifestyle and wants to attend a summer session at an infamous BDSM school to be trained as his sub. They have an agreement that Andie has a free pass for the summer to experience anything sexually while she is training. Well all but one thing, she make the condition that she will keep her v-card.

That promise becomes harder and harder after Andie meets her professor, Master Fulton Matthews. There is an instant attraction but Fulton holds back because she’s a student and a virgin. She holds back because she’s promised herself to Terrence. No cheating happens! At least none within the terms that Terrence and Andie set up before she goes to the school for the summer. The cheating is more emotional than physical so some may have issues with it but I didn’t. I never really felt like Andie and Terrence was a couple. They were more like friends who thought they should become more. If you can get past the thought of any kind of cheating, Andie and Fulton is the true couple you will root for in this weak love triangle.

Master Professor is the first book I’ve read in a while where I sat down and read it in basically one sitting. I only stopped for bathroom breaks. It’s also the first book by Tara Sue Me I’ve read and I can say that as I want for the second book in the series to release. While I wait I’ll start on her Submissive series.

Dang! I mean, I knew I was in for a ride but, man, this has got me wanting to pick the book right back up and reread it. I've heard of this author but have never had the pleasure of reading her work before. So, I had no idea exactly what I was getting myself into. She writes her characters in a way that you can't help but fall in love with everyone. I even felt bad for Andie's boyfriend who sent her off to an academy to be trained as his submissive instead of being the one to train her himself. Now before you get your panties in a wad, there is no cheating in this novel. I am a stickler when it comes to cheating in my romances. However, Andie and her boyfriend have decided to take a break while she's in the academy. That way she won't feel guilty for the lessons and situations that would be going on while training. Obviously the dude didn't expect her to fall in love with her instructor but that's neither here nor there.

Master Professor was nothing what I expected and everything I didn't know I needed. It's a great book for anyone who's just starting out with this subject matter but it is also a breath of fresh air for anyone who's read BDSM books before. It had amazing characters who weren't acting stupid all the time, an actual story instead of just sex scene after sex scene, and the sexual scenes we get were pretty darn steamy without going overboard. I thought this was a really well-rounded erotic romance and I can't wait to get my hands on the next book in the series. I may just have to bide my time by reading all of the other books by Tara Sue Me.

"Kiss me like I've never been kissed and kiss me so I forget every kiss except yours."

After enjoying "The Submissive" series, I was looking forward to this new book and the start of a brand new series. It sounded like my kind of read so I couldn't wait to get started. Unfortunately it didn't quite deliver in the way that I had hoped. Don't get me wrong, I did like Andie and Fulton's story, I just didn't love it as much as I thought I would.

The story follows Andie's journey into the world of BDSM when she enrols in an exclusive training academy. This is where she meets her sexy tutor, Fulton. I did like Andie, she seemed like a nice enough character, but I was quite surprised at how confident she was when it came to her sexual awakening, especially because she was a virgin. Andie was not afraid to act on her desires, that's for sure. When it came to Fulton, I found that he was a bit of a disappointment. He wasn't nearly as masterful or sexy as I had expected a Dominant to be. I obviously had set my standards on Tara's previous Dom's and so sadly Fulton didn't quite get the reaction from me that I usually would. I was hoping that I would go all weak in the knees over him, however this never happened.

The story itself was a good one, I enjoyed the premise and looked forward to Andie and Fulton's affair play out and at times I enjoyed what I was reading. At the beginning I liked Andie and Fulton together and I was intrigued as to what would happen between them. However for me their feelings for each other grew far too quickly. It wasn't quite insta-love but it wasn't far off and I felt that for Andie and Fulton, this didn't work and I found myself thinking that it wasn't very believable. I failed to feel any chemistry or excitement between the pair. It was a shame because I truly wanted to love this one. I was also surprised at the lack of erotic scenes considering the subject of the book. I think I counted three sexy scenes in the entire story, and I was fully prepared for a steamy read. Lol!

Overall this was an okay read but it didn't make me fall crazy in love.

Sadly, this is going on a temporary DNF. I really like the idea of the series and the setting. And under different circumstances would really like the hero and heroine. The steam is definitely there and erotic.

But I just am struggling really hard with the cheating aspect. The heroine has a boyfriend. And that's not the hero of this book. She's really pushing the boundaries of cheating to me and is definitely mentally cheating on him. Plus the fact that I just have a hard time believing these two in a BDSM setting with their behavior. BDSM is about respect, honesty, trust. And the way they're acting knowing she has a boyfriend don't follow through on any of those aspects. Very disappointing.

••••••••••

REVIEW: MASTER PROFESSOR is the first instalment in Tara Sue Me’s new contemporary, adult LESSONS FROM THE RACK erotic, BDSM romance series. This is Dominant Master Fulton Matthews, and wanna-be submissive Andie Lincoln’s story line.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Fulton and Andie) MASTER PROFESSOR follows the building relationship between Andie Lincoln and Fulton Matthews. Andie’s boyfriend is A-list actor Terrence Knight and a Dominant, and Andie has agreed to a three month ‘education’ as a submissive at the exclusive and elite BDSM learning centre known as the RACK Academy owned by Terrence’s friend and fellow Dominant Lennox MacLure. Enter Master Fulton Matthews, Andie’s BDSM professor, and the man with whom Andie will fall in love.

Andie is a woman trying desperately to please the man she thought she loved. When Terrence revealed he was a Dominant, Andie considered it a life-changing alternative but never expected to fall in love with the man whose entire life revolves around his Dominant attitude. Fulton Matthews has never collared a submissive but something about Andie Lincoln calls to his heart-a heart that has been frozen for a number of years.

The relationship between Andie and Fulton begins as a professional arrangement-a Dominant/submissive educational experience that turns into something more. The BDSM and $ex scenes are erotic and intense, including bondage, spanking, punishments, demonstrations and submission.

We are introduced to Andie’s boyfriend, actor Terrence Knight, as well as her roommate at school Maggie; the RACK’s owner Dominant Lennox MacLure, and the RACK’s dance instructor and resident submissive Mariela. Mariela is a woman in love with a man whose lost in a world of guilt and pain.

When it was announced that Tara Sue Me was writing a new series I was hoping for something different but there are a number of similarities with her Submissive series that cannot be ignored-an innocent virgin/submissive and a Dominant alpha male who fall in love towards a happily ever after but that’s not to say it makes the story line any less interesting. Even the supporting characters (Lennox and Mariela) are familiar within the story line context.

MASTER PROFESSOR is a provocative but familiar story line of one man’s struggle to remain professional, and one woman’s battle between her heart and her head. The premise is consuming; the characters are colorful and passionate; the romance is seductive, erotic and intense. MASTER PROFESSOR is an energetic and provocative look at one woman’s journey into submission.

My review cross-posted from Wit and Sin: http://witandsin.blogspot.com/2017/04...

When Andie Lincoln learns that her best friend-turned-boyfriend Terrence Knight – the hottest actor in Hollywood – is a Dominant, it awakens something in her she never before thought of. Andie has no experience with submission, but she’s eager to learn. Since Terrence has no time to teach her, he manages to get her a spot in the exclusive RACK Academy. Andie’s got a free pass to explore her sexuality so long as she doesn’t lose her virginity, and she’s both nervous and eager to delve into the world of BDSM. What she doesn’t plan for is her unexpected attraction to Fulton Matthews, her new professor. Fulton doesn’t just awaken her submissive side, he tempts her like no man ever has. And though the attraction might be mutual, a relationship between teacher and student would be forbidden even if Andie were free. So there’s no way they could act on it…right?

Master Professor is fast-paced, sexy, and fun. I enjoyed watching Andie come into her own as she embraced her submissive side and found her place at the RACK Academy. Andie is sweet, uncertain, and curious, and she’s got a core of strength that stands out as she goes toe-to-toe with Fulton. Her feelings for him throw her off her stride repeatedly, not just because he’s the first man she’s ever submitted to, but because of Terrence. I don’t condone cheating and it’s a hot-button issue for me in romance, but author Tara Sue Me established Andie and Terrence’s understanding from the start and handled this delicate topic in such a way that it didn’t bother me, even when Andie and Fulton were pulled into greyer areas.

I was cheering for Andie all through Master Professor , wanting her to find happiness and a Dom who loves and appreciates her as he should. Fulton is a great match for her. He’s both caring and commanding; definitely a Dom, but one who is a bit more relaxed. He struggles with wanting Andie, knowing he can’t have her and yet falling for her both in the classroom where they’re trainer and student, and outside of it, where they’re two people who simply click. He and Andie have an easy chemistry that shows on the page and made it impossible not to enjoy their story. The BDSM aspects of Master Professor are moderate, which suited the characters and the story. That doesn’t mean the story lacks heat – the sexual tension is fantastic and when it boils over it’s hot as hell.

Master Professor is the first book in the Lessons from the RACK series and while I finished it well-satisfied with Andie and Fulton’s story, I’m hungry for more of the RACK Academy. I cannot wait to see what Tara Sue Me has in store for the mysterious Master MacLure!

This book is a little 'Meh' for me. It has the potential to be great, but it wasn't quite there yet.

I like the book so much more, when the hero was an @sshole and didn't turn into a puppy dog when love declaration was made. The dialogue was stilted, it lacked the authentic, organic flow that I preferred. I rolled my eyes, cringe several times and skipped chapters and paragraphs till I reached the end.

I was unable to connect fully with any of the characters and I remained unconvinced of their love and affection. The conflict towards the end felt immature and forced, it can also be classified as a NA read.

I do not think I will continue with the series.

Master Professor by Tara Sue Me

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶🌶🌶

First off, I ended up reading this book in 3hrs. Out of other BDSM romances that I’ve read, this one read the most similar to how I assume Fifty Shades is. That being said, it is NOT the same!!

The story itself follows a young woman attending an academy that is teaching her submission. Our main character, Andie, is wanting to become a sub for her new boyfriend but, while she is attending the academy, she learns that the life she has planned isn’t necessarily one that she wants.

This was a great, and quick, spicy read that is perfect for a book slump! I saw a tag the other day that I haven’t had the time to do but really wanted to and that is a match your sweater post! This is one of my fave sweaters and the point is crazy lace agate from the amazing owner of Crescent Moon Soaps here in hickory. They have handcrafted soaps & bath bombs as well as being one of the few (and the best) crystal shops in the area!

I much enjoyed previous books from Tara Sue Me, but this story appears to be something she wrote before the other books. It feels less mature and does not really bring the characters to life. The principal character spends a couple of months at an advanced BSDM school, but the story doesn't mention more than a little spanking, wax play and a few small mindfucks.
I expect a lot more from the next book in the submissive series.

Smutathon book #2: Out of your comfort zone, new to me author, workplace romance.

Well, this was rather something out of my comfort zone alright. 😬
It deals with the world of BDSM in the most basic way, through an actual BDSM school.

I have only read one such a thing and it’s FSOG. Which I now understand is barely even BDSM, since the trilogy does actually focuses more on their relationship aspect than the BDSM world. But, let’s talk about THIS book right here.

Master Professor by Tara Sue Me.
The story revolves around Andie Lincoln, Fulton Matthews, Terrence Knight, Lennox MacLure, and Mariela (her surname wasn’t mentioned.)

As the blurb said, Andie went to enroll to RACK Academy to appease her A-list childhood friend turned boyfriend, Terrence Knight. Terrence was a full pledge Dom outside his hollywood status and in order for them to continue the relationship, Andie decided to study being a submissive for him.

Fulton Matthews has been teaching in the academy under headmaster MacLure for a few years now and was just recently promoted to Master Professor. His first teaching as Master Professor will start with the summer class and he was looking forward to it. Until a certain last minute additional student was admitted as a favor from MacLure’s friend.

Andie and Fulton’s first encounter didn’t go well. Fulton was already irked at the reason behind Andie’s intent to learn the Dom/Sub world, and knowing she was also a virgin just didn’t sit well with him.

The reason this was a four star for me is because I felt the story was lacking on some areas. I did enjoy it, yes, and I now understood more of the BDSM world, but it could’ve betters is what I’m saying. Plus there’s an intro for the next book which is about Lennox and Mariela which lead to a semi-cliffhanger at the end of the book about them (to entice us to read the next one of course).

I loved Andie and Fulton’s characters and Tara writes well, and now I am intruiged about her famous “The Submissive” series. She writes a lot-if not mainly-about BDSM plots.

There are two men out there who care deeply about you. One asked you to marry him and one risked his job. You have a choice to make. Choose wisely and for the right reasons. Don't let a little inconvenience stop you."

I feel like this is definitely a new territory of erotica romance that I am stepping into.
Hence, I can't really compare and understand myself if I enjoy the read and see what I think of it.
I definitely have to read more similar reads than I can know, but it was a good read.

I like it and didn't really love it. It wasn't as wow as I hope for it to be.
From the plotline, I was entertained, swooned and had a good time reading it.
Coming into a BDSM topic, it was definitely very light; which I am thankful for as I haven't read a genre like this before. So coming into it easy was a good step, like testing the waters first you know.

I enjoyed the simplicity of Tara Sue Me's writing. It was very simple, easy, and straight to the point. It wasn't a chaotic plotline, we don't have many side characters and it was definitely very main character focused which I enjoyed.

I was excited it is a forbidden romance and we do follow that storyline however I wished it was more played into it. More spiciness, more drama and more forbidden tense.
The plotline jumps around a lot here and there, it was a good balance of POV, and also a sneak peek of the second book, which I can't wait to dive into.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. If I could go back and redo it, I'd do it differently. I lied. You're not just a student to me. And I hope you'll forgive me. Come back to me. Let me show you how much I love you."

*** ARC provided by author in exchange for honest review ***

Another new series by the phenomenal Tara Sue Me. Master Professor is just what this title is… a forbidden professor/ student romance with a sexy BDSM 101 edge. As a huge fan of her Submissive series, Tara does not disappoint in Master Professor. She captures you from the first pages down to the last with her mind set of a student who’s about to learn the meaning of submission.

Andie Lincoln finds herself at the doors of the RACK Academy, a top rated BDSM school for dominants and submissives to learn about submission for her boyfriend, Hollywood actor Terrence Knight. Always friends since school age, until 6 months prior when emotions took a turn to lust, Terrence mentions he is a Dominant. Intrigued with this revelation, she asks to be enrolled in the academy to become a submissive for him.

Fulton Matthews, aka “Master Matthews” has recently been promoted which means he is in charge of the new attendees for the summer session. He is not happy to learn that there is a student who has no experience at all with submission and was able to surpass other applicants due to her boyfriends connections. Upon meeting Andie for the first time he is the spitting image of what an alpha/dominant man is… an asshole! Andie can’t believe she has to be around him, but after some other encounters she is able to get passed his hard exterior and starts to yearn for him. When a new Dom backs out of the class, Master Matthews takes it upon himself to train Andie. Knowing this is a disaster waiting to happen he can’t seem to back off. She is a breath of fresh air and keeps him on his toes, but any relations with a student is forbidden! What will he do?

When Terrence comes on a break from filming and takes Andie away for a night, can she forget about Master Matthews? Does she realize she made a mistake by submitting first to another man at the academy?

Emotions and boundaries are tested. Who will Andie decide to submit to?

Master Professor is the first book in the Lessons from the RACK series, so I as a reader can not wait until more books are written from this series! If you are a fan of BDSM, Dominant/Submissive, hot alpha men who push the limits for their women then this is a book for you. Tara Sue Me is a wonderful, talented and compelling author who sucks you in into the world of submission!

4 stars for Tara Sue Me's first in the new series Lessons From The Rack

A high class BDSM academy on an island, a virgin as the heroine, a forbidden Master as the hero, Tara Sue Me's writing? Sign me up for it!
Andie and Fulton couldn't be more opposite on the first sight, but soon after starting to work with each other they find out they have more in common than one would think. A virgin and new to the BDSM lifestyle, on top of doing it for her boyfriend, Master Matthews isn't a big fan of hers and is not afraid to voice his opinion. Something Andie is just more than willing to prove him wrong. And right from the beginning there's something between them that soon both can't deny. But then there's the issue of Andie doing it for her boyfriend.

Tara Sue Me created an interesting setting that leaves a lot of room for thoughtful sexy scenes and characters to find themselves and discover the different sides of BDSM now and in future books this series. Her writing is once again flawless and captivating and I enjoyed it a lot! I'm also really looking forward to Headmaster MacLure's story.

Well this was not the best book I have read by Tara Sue Me, but it was still pretty good. It was definitely alot more about Andie and Fulton foniding themselves then it was about the BDSM school. The end picked up though, and I really wanna find out more about Lennox and why he acts the way he does.
