Meary is traveling with two others, playing and singing for all those around. As musicians in Ireland they are welcome at any home they stop in.

While on the road a Englishman comes by. He invites Meary to teach him her language but she declines. He then asks them to play for him at his home but again is declined. So Colin rides on. He had thought the beauty would be amusing for awhile.

Meary often gets "feelings" and she felt they needed to go to this man and play for him. They find out who he is and head there.

Colin invites them to be his guests and then looks into seducing Meary.
He is surprised to figure out she is blind as she is so independent.

This was a good story with many twists and turns.
