This is a short book, only 120 pages long but it seemed to take me forever to read. It is too religious for my taste but I found myself on many occasions wishing I had a highlighter in my hand to mark the pages of the book that really hit home. The author made statements that I wish I could go back to and reread on different occasions in my life to come….Darn; I guess I have to read it again with highlighter in hand.
I thought I was going to learn a lot from this book. I like the publisher, the topic seemed extremely relevant to my life, so what could go wrong.
I don't really know. But I do know I finished this book last night and I have no real insights from the book. I can't really remember any thing that Walker said that I will find useful.
It is a shame because I think Walker is very well-meaning.
