30-Minute Landscapes: Quick and easy lessons for keeping your paintings loose and fresh

Discover the benefits of completing a watercolor painting in 30 minutes or lessSpending hours or even days on a watercolor painting can lead to dull, muddy results. But a surefire way to keep your paintings loose and fresh is to work quickly! In this informative, 64-page book, accomplished artist Paul Talbot-Greaves proves that painting in watercolor doesn't have to be an all-day event. In fact, an impressive landscape scene can be created in just 30 minutes or less, which Paul demonstrates in 27 step-by-step lessons. To discourage readers from overworking their paintings, the author breaks down each lesson into short blocks of time, indicating how many minutes should be spent on each stage. In addition, he provides practical information on tone, color, pattern, light, and more, so readers can improve their skills and develop their "artist's eye."

I purchased this book from Amazon several years ago, and have read it several times, and finally decided to post a review to let other budding artists know of this valuable book.

Love it! Now that I’m more of a novice than a complete beginner, this book is so useful. It shows you how to paint quickly with more assured strokes but without specifying every tiny little thing as it assumes you know the basics.
Very well targeted for improvers

already did 3 painting based on the photo-tutorial instructions, quite impressive results, im only a beginner in watercolour painting but the ones i did look like they have been painted by a professional. some of the paintings might take more than 30 minutes to complete if you are a beginner but other than that very easy to follow and provides beautiful painting for practice.
