Book 6 in The Lost Souls MC Series. John ‘Oak’ Johnson has been a Lost Souls brother since the club began back in 1984. In the beginning, he had it all, his brothers, an old lady and his best friend, Mark Blake. Over time, his old lady left him and his best friend died, but he still had his club and an endless supply of whiskey. He’s loyal and fiercely protective of anyone who wears the Lost Souls patch. With new enemies setting their sights on his club, Oak is used as their first move in their attack. There is only one regret Oak has and that is letting the love of his life leave too many years ago. Regret is a bitch and she told him once, the club will get him killed. Oak has always said, he’s a Lost Soul till he dies – can he come to terms that it might be sooner, rather than later if Cas and the club doesn’t find him in time?

I have freaking loved this MC series since reading Biker bait back in 2014. Its gritty, hard core, a definite must read for anyone who enjoys the MC genre. You have your bada** alpha males, strong females characters, and let's not forget all the supporting characters that make you fall in love with them. In this story there is off the charts emotion, from rage, crying, to seriously wanting to thro my iPad at the wall!! I definitely couldn't have asked for anything more from this book, well except for the loss that was suffered..... Well I'm off to read Biker Torn and see what happens next....
No not oak. I wanted him to find his forever, what happened to sparky/jason?? Has he left for good??? Please tell me this isn't the end???+ I'm in bits!!!!!

Wow that was intense and heart breaking!!! I don't want to say anything else because it will spoil it for others that haven't read it. Not to sound like a broken record but the "Britishism's" are still bugging me. I have to start the next one "Biker Torn" because I have to know what happens now!!!!
This book is freaking heartbreaking!! This one touched me way more then the others. I don't know why but it has. This series is so amazing. Everything I mean everything you want in an MC read. So onto the next I gotta know what happens next. Thanks Jamie Nibarger Ellis
This is truly a hard book to read. Oak is a Lost Soul until he dies, he lost his old lady and turned into a drunk. The only thing he has left is his club and his brothers but will they be able to save him.
Another great blast from the past and present. It truly flows from one to the other and back again not many writers can do that so fluently. It will have you in tears in the last few chapters but it was great too see another side of the MC world.
This was a fabulous but heartbreaking book! I almost gave a low rating because of the ending. I couldn't do that though. I can't really say much more without giving things away but make sure you have tissues ready.
Damn, I don't think I have ever been on edge as much as while reading this book. It's crazy how I am besides myself right now.......just sad. But besides the ending, it's a great addition to the Lost Souls' series.
This book was off the charts!!! I had to take several and yes I do mean several cig breaks to get thru this story!! It was so moving and sad 😢,but it was an incredible storyline!!! I can't wait to read the next book!!
Just WOW!!!! Once you start reading you won't want to put it down. This book has a lot of action, great characters, heartbreak and a story line that keeps you reading till the last word on the last page. Have some tissues handy. Rated very good
I've read thousands of books and can honestly say this is one that will stick with you..raw,gritty,brutal and my God heartbreaking...I can say with no doubt this book broke my heart and I'm scared for the next but I have to see what the shell is going to happen...
This book was just okay for me. I really like this series, but I didn’t like the back and forth with the past and present - this got too confusing. The characters are great, and while I didn’t like the ending, it was a good book.
Wow, what a story, the Lost Souls are in jeopardy. Two of there men are kidnapped, emotions are flaring. Memories and ghosts are haunting them. Can't wait to read the next one.
An intense, heartbreaking, suspenseful story that will stay with you long after the last word. This is John "Oak" Johnson's story, from the beginning of the club through the years, and it's definitely a heartbreaking one. It will have you laughing, frustrated, angry, and crying in this roller-coaster of a book. There are many intriguing twists throughout the story, along with angst, intense situations, extreme violence, and death.
Without giving away spoilers, which I refuse to do, I won't go into more detail about the story. It was a great read, as well as an emotional one. The editing was great in this one, and a huge improvement from the last couple of books, which was very appreciated. It made the flow of the story much better and easier to read. One issue I have with this book is that there were several times where it got repetitive. I understand that most do not read one book after the other in a series (unless they're already released), and that may be why it seemed so repetitive to me. There was a lot in this book that was included in the last two books, only told from a different POV, but even still the stories didn't really change much, if at all. Normally when you get the same story told in different POV's you get a few of the same details, however the main part is different due to coming from someone else. That wasn't the case with this one.
This book ends in a huge cliffhanger, which I am not a fan of at all! I would much prefer that the author end each story within the current book, and start the next book with the new story. When it takes months or years to release the next book, it becomes difficult to remember what was going on in the last book, without having to re-read it.
This has been a great series and one I recommend to everyone who loves MC romances.
I've been waiting for this book to come out foreverrrr!! I want to hate this book so bad for how heartbreaking it is I cried so much I become so connected with the characters that I don't want nothing happening to them. Can you rewrite it and make it a little um HAPPY? Every time I finish reading one off these books I'm crying next book I'm going to have to read from the end to make sure there will be a happily ever after lol but besides that this book was good I love a book that has me at the edge of my seat and this author has the ability to do that I just couldn't put the book down I can't wait to find out what happens next
It's not a HEA ……… it's a WOW ... there's tears .. enormous tension Through this whole book the threat was one they took lightly & one of them paid the price... & I really hope the next book is coming out next week cause I need it to read what the hell is going on!!! Their blaming Cas... but really he was working on it right from the start... really they should be putting all there energy into wiping out the whole club that's threatened them.. banding together not finding blame.. so hence why the next book is needed cause we're not gonna know till then.. This was an Excellent Read..
I had a very hard time reading this book.. I really liked the character of Oak and of course Sparky is in my top three...the book was so good but I admit I had to skip a few pages. Ms. Hunter does write a good book.
Highs.... lows...and the in between...you won't expect it...it will hit you like a freight train...leaves you wanting more...can't wait to see where we go next...
I think this is my favorite of the series so far. Surprising even to me since it was not a lite book. The characters really sucked me in, especially Oak and Shellie. The ending made me sad and the reminiscing of Oak/Shellie's past relationship was heart breaking. The book shifts from past to present and I must say the author handled this really well. She draws a poignant picture of how the relationships between the different characters was built and especially shows how strong the bond is between the characters. I have moved on now to Biker Torn: The Lost Souls MC Series. I hope Sparky comes back to the club but after what he went through I can certainly understand his feelings.
Oak has been captured. It is up to Cas to get him back. Can he get to Oak (John Johnson) quick enough to save him? Oak relives his decisions made in his life with Shelllie, a woman he fell in love with who he loved enough to let her go. The thing I like about this series is there is a plot over the arc of each book. I have never read a biker series where the member begin to question their loyalty to the club when their biker family is under pressure from another club. The inside and outside destruction makes the series interesting as the Lost Souls balance their private personal lives with their club's survival. I have finished Biker Torn and am waiting patiently for installment 8.
