I really wish it was possible to give zero stars.

I don't know what the hell I read. 17 Chapters into this book, and I couldn't finish it. The story, the character and even the writing was terrible. I couldn't understand Julia's character at all. It's like in each chapter, she was a different character. I hated her. For being one of the best publicist, she had to be smart but unfortunately she wasn't. And let's not forget about Edward, what an asshole?

0☆. Firstly this book ends at 21%. Secondly the cover shows a white guy with brown hair and a white woman with blonde hair. However, there are actually very few physical descriptions about Edward and Julia but I do recall him mentioning her brown legs and calling her brother Michael "a minority" which kind of indicates that Julia and Michael are not white. Thirdly, the writing style was atrocious, the characters were awful, the story was certainly up there as the worst I've ever read and quite frankly anyone reading this review really shouldn't bother with this book, the time I spent on it is time I'll never get back. This author needs to drastically improve her work or do us readers a favour and give up writing so we don't waste our time on utter trash!!!

Couldn't even finish it

Twice. That's the number of times I have stopped reading a book without seeing it to the end. This is the 2nd time. I can't even put into words everything that was bad. The writing, the story, the characters, the editing.....all terrible. I hated the girl, she seemed like a different character from one chapter to the next. There was no real build up to the story. She hated him but was screwing him, then suddenly they loved each other? She was a flake and he was a douche. I could care less how the rest of the story went. Also, I have never seen so many exclamation marks in my entire life. It's like the characters were screaming the dialogue.

I found this book, okay. The storyline was good, I'll give it that. What I didn't like was all the exclamations in the book. It seemed like every other sentence had an exclamation point. And that might just be something weird to me personally, but it made the book less pleasurable for me. And the "75% thing" where something happens around 15% into a book, I didn't really like how it was handled. This book wasn't for me, but if you like it, awesome!

An ok read. Edward was an ar** but one that made me laugh at times. A shocker to me for his drastic change from playboy to falling head on for Julia but what they had was spicy. I just didn't see the 'I love yous' coming so soon. Also not sure of what the cover is all about as Julia in the story is meant to be black.

I, so far, hate this book but can't NOT finish a book. I don't hate the story but the writing, ugh. I hate books that repeat the main character name a million times as if I forgot it. And in this book I hate all the !!!!!!!!!! I literally feel like I'm scream-reading.

3.5 Stars. I found the cover confusing. Julia is supposed to be a "Kerry Washington" look alike but the woman on the cover is more of a "Carrie Underwood" look alike Its a cute story but I didn't care for Julia's lack of self worth when dealing with Edward's playboy ways or his immaturity. Am I a fan of Nikki Wild and plan to read all of her books, this was just not one of my favorites. I received a ARC copy for an honest review.

In order to get his inheritance Edward needs to be married and have a child on the way by a certain date. Edward decides to proposition his employee, Julia. Julia has worked closely with Edward to assist him with anything he needs or wants including sex, along with cleaning up his image. Julia takes the bait and accepts Edward's offer. She will rationalize it as she could use the money for her and her brother. She is not looking at the big picture. She will be married and must have a child with Edward. What happens if one starts to have feelings for the other? Can Edward truly change his ways from playboy to husband/father? Will Julia and Edward make it down this isle and get pregnant in time to collect his inheritance? This was a good book from the wonderful Nikki Wild. I really loved the character, Edward I found him to be charming. As for Julia, I just didn't care for her. Overall, I recommend this book if you are in the mood for a unique love story with lots of drama and a HEA. **received an arc in exchange for an honest review**

Julia works for Edward who is controlling, demanding and never gives Julia a break just to breath and do her own thing. Her life revolves around his demands. Edward really gets off on pushing her buttons and loves it when she gets all worked up and frustrated. There is defiantly sexual chemistry between them as well.

Things change when Edwards grandfather dies and in his will he makes demands that Edward need to follow in order to get his inheritance. What is Edward going to do? find that special women in order to get the inheritance and ignore the chemistry with Julia? Or is Julia the one and he needs to convince to help him? Or better yet do a pretend marriage. You will need to read the book to see what happens. This is a must read in my opinion. Way to go Nikki

Wish Zero Stars Was An Option

This is the worst writing I've ever experienced in a book so far and I have read a LOT of books. The characters are awful, the plot is awful, and the sex scenes are awful (and don't get me wrong, I can get behind a well-written sex scene.)

It seems like the author woke up one morning, thought, "I think I'll write a book today," and then posted it on Amazon. Do yourself a favor and skip over this one.

So funny

I was pleasantly surprised by this little gem. I laughed so hard at some parts tears came to my eyes. Before I even finished the book I went on line to see other books from this author. I have found out from reading reviews that this is a different style for this author. Please stick with this. It is so hard to find quality reading with humor. You have a new fan.

I enjoyed this book. It was sweet, sexy, funny and our main characters had chemistry off the charts even if I got a little frustrated with them at times. And boy did I love the butler, he was the perfect add on character.
