'What do you like?' by Michael Grejniec is a about two children describing to each other what they like. This is a simple book which allows children to see the different interpretations of words. The brightly coloured pictures capture the reader and represent the differing opinions of the children.

This book would be ideal for a reception/Early KS1 setting when trying to get children to express their opinions about their preferences. It allows children to notice the different variations of preferences as well.

This book is both in Spanish and English. I absolutely love it because it is a great tool to use for a lesson about what a young student likes. It talks about things that small children love to do (play, rainbows, animals, etc.) It is also an EXCELLENT book for bilingual/dual-language classrooms due to the fact that it has the book in Spanish than right under it is English therefore no matter what there native language is, they will understand the general concept.

Excellent book for non-spanish speakers trying to introduce/reintroduce themselves to spanish progressively. :) It's adorable, and it feels good to finish an entire spanish book in which you knew all the words (no matter how few of them there may be).
