This is a great book, with a wide variety of straightforward recipes to make in a slow cooker. I like that the recipes are simple, without too many steps or too many ingredients. The ingredients are also affordable and easy and to find in a regular supermarket. The book has coloured photographs of almost all of the dishes, helping you choose what to make. I'd recommend this book to anyone that has a slow cooker.

So far I've tried the following recipes:

Magic lemon sponge - page 89 - I probably wouldn't make this again.
This pudding is very sweet and citrus. We had mixed opinions on it, some people really liked it but others weren't as keen. It also didn't look amazing, as it was a little sludgy. Perhaps putting it under a grill for a few mins at the end could help give a golden top.

Bread pudding - page 95 - I'll make this again.
I made this with a packet of chocolate chip brioches, rather than panettone, and it worked well.
We had some of this pudding hot, then had the rest cold the next day. Both were nice but we preferred it cold, once the sauce had set a bit more. It also looked more appealing when it was cold and set.

Springtime lamb with asparagus - page 68 - I'll definitely be making this again!
This recipe was a huge success - it's delicious! I served it with potatoes, which went perfectly with this dish.
I made a few slight modifications, to change the quantity made. I used 1 tbsp oil, 1 onion, 2 garlic cloves, 300g diced lamb, 125g asparagus, 200ml chicken stock, juice of 1 lemon, 150ml double cream, salt and pepper.

Goulash - page 30 - I might make this again.
This recipe didn't turn out how I expected, as it had a very subtle flavour and wasn't spicy at all. If I make it again I'll add more bay leaves (perhaps 3), more paprika (about 5 tsp, and or a spicier type) and more black pepper.
The caraway seeds were nice, adding a subtle flavour, and the beef was perfect.
