I loved this book.
From the first page to the last, I could not stop reading. This is an wonderfully plotted story with unexpected twists and turns that mystery readers will love. Taffy Belair is one spectacular character — smart, cute, fun-loving and adventurous. As the story begins, Taffy, still suffering from the years-ago loss of her mother, is wild and out-of-control with friends who also need to grow up. When Taffy, driving with her drunk female friends flashing other motorists, crashes her Bentley convertible, her grandmother (Nana), who controls all of Taffy’s trust fund money, decides enough is enough. Unless Taffy consents to Nana’s sealed envelope instructions, she will be cut off completely. Taffy agrees, but secretly vows to do all she can to foil Nana’s plans. I won’t spoil the fun by revealing what’s in the envelope, but Taffy’s Nana has thought of everything. The result is that Taffy begins an adventure involving romance, murder and danger. Using newly discovered insight, she uncovers what could be the key to bringing the murderer to justice. As the story progresses, the reader is exposed to twist after surprising twist, revealing that nothing is as it seems. All this progresses to an unforgettable and satisfying conclusion.
Read this book -- you will love it as I did!
