Meet the four sexy brothers of Beauford Bend in this enchanting new Southern series by USA Today best-selling author Alicia Hunter Pace! Nearly thirty miles from Nashville sits the boutique town of Beauford, known for its artisan craft shops and colorful personalities--especially the renowned Beauford brothers. Haunted by the tragic fire that orphaned them years ago, the boys left town to find fame and success. Now they're coming home. But surprising revelations about that fateful night--and the love of a few good Southern women--will heal their hearts and change their lives forever.
Forgiving Jackson: When a devastating fire at one of his concerts reopens old wounds for country superstar Jackson Beauford, he heads home for some peace and quiet--only to discover that stubborn Southern magnolia Emory Lowell has planted herself at his family estate, bringing chaos in her wake.
Nickolai's Noel: An ice storm traps hockey pro Nickolai Glazov with quilt shop owner Noel Verden one fateful Christmas. As these two strong-willed folks fall in love then fall apart, they'll learn that home is the place you hang your heart (not just your quilt or your hockey stick).
Reforming Gabe: Once the NFL's best wide receiver, Gabe Beauford's been dropping the ball this season--literally. After his team loses the Super Bowl, he heads back to Beauford to hide and brood, but crossing paths with independent and talented jewelry maker Neyland MacKenzie puts a new gleam in his eye. She needs saving, and he needs a project... But will his not-so-deft touch ruin her dreams and their chance at real love?
Redeeming Rafe: Bull riding, cliff diving, plane jumping--if it makes most men quake in their boots, Rafe Beauford does it eagerly. But his wild lifestyle comes to a halt when he discovers he's the father of toddlers. Taking his twin girls back to Beauford, he plans to leave them there to grow up with a nanny, but the woman he hires, widowed mom Abigail Whitman, is determined to show him the importance of family--and love.
Heath's Hope: Ambitious and career-minded Hope MacKenzie left Heath Beckett with a bleeding heart years ago. Now she's back in town because her family's bank needs her desperately. When she gives a personal loan to the women who own the local knitting shop without consulting Heath, who has helped them with their finances for years, the two must work together to ensure the ladies' business plan is in tip-top shape. But will sharing their time lead to deeper feelings being re-awakened?
Healing Beau: Sick of being babied his whole life, youngest brother Beau joined the army as soon as he could. He thought he'd be a lifer, but an injury sends him back to Beauford without peace or a purpose. Knowing he can't heal until some truths come to light, his old friend Christian Hambrick, who always held a torch for him, wages a full-scale war on the past--and emerges with the secrets about what really happened the night of the fire.
As Alicia Hunter Pace, Stephanie Jones and Jean Hovey write contemporary romantic comedy and light fantasy with a distinct southern voice.
Stephanie lives in Jasper, AL, where she teaches third grade and wishes for a bigger bookstore. She is a native Alabamian who likes football, civil war history, and people who follow the rules. She is happy to provide a list of said rules to anyone who needs them.
Jean, a former public librarian, lives in Decatur, AL, with her husband in a hundred-year-old house that always wants something from her. She likes to cook but has discovered the joy of Mrs. Paul's fish fillets since becoming a writer.
What an absolutely amazing set of books. I highly recommend these books, Family is the most important things in my life and these books show so much family love. There is romance and a tragedy in the past that haunts each brother.
This boxed set grips you from the beginning and you find yourself reading faster to find out how each of the brothers overcomes their fears! A read that you can't put Dow n!
I really enjoy how these two authors write. They create such a down home feeling. This a collection of stories about each of the Beauford brothers finding their true loves. I enjoyed all of them except Beau's story. I personally was hoping Christian would find someone more worthy of her. Beau came across as a conceited and selfish jerk. Too bad, because the rest of the stories were fun to read.
This series was very well written, and the books connected very well. The characters were very true to life and also very likable. You could imagine yourself being friends with the entire group. The brothers, linked not only by love , but by tragic circumstances and guilt, made you want to keep reading. By the end, I wished there were more brothers so I could keep reading.
I loved these books. The romances were sweet, the characters strong and flawed. The writer created a wonderful visual of the Beauford Plantation House, grounds and town. There's humour and one scene in particular, when the little girls sat down and pulled off their shoe and sock, had me laughing out loud.
If you want sweet romances, strong characters, love of family, then go for it.
Hi, I am so touched by your books. Each one has been a journey, even though I have gone through tissues boxes while reading them. Thank for the reminder to reach out and talk to someone when we need it, that is hard to do at times, so thank you. Please continue writing!
Loved Jackson’s story. Loved the crazy Russian hockey player and his “Noel”. Gabe was a charming handful. Rafe’s story was more complex, which I appreciated. Not sure about heath and his love, not terribly believable characters to me. And finally, beau and Charmaine, so so story to me. (Excuse name misspellings.)
A delightful series with wonderful characters. Each story kept me wanting to meet more citizens from this small town that is the setting of the series.
The Beauford family has been a wonderful story of love and romance. Each brother had to find themselves and understand the meaning of sharing fears with their brothers and wives. Loved these books
And this was 5 wonderful, heartfelt stories about love, life, artistic talent and overcoming obstacles, loss and heartbreak. Can't wait to read more by this Author. Thank you and please keep writing. God Bless
This is a series of books about a family named Beauford in a small Tennessee town named for their ancestors. It is explained in each book that their parents died in a fire and is the basis of much torment and pain. These brothers are all talented in some way. Musical, sports, bullriding, and woodworking. They also connect with women who love and accept them in spite of some of the crazy things they do. I wholeheartedly recommend this series of books. You will laugh, cry, get angry, long to shake some sense into all of them, but in the end, it will be worth it!
Overall, it is a good read. I grew tired of the formulaic approach of typical romance novel after 5 stories. The characters were believable, though a big trying at times. They cod have dropped the fifth story all together.
This box set of 5 books and one novella was only £0.72 so I don't feel I can complain on that score but I won't be reading any more by this author. In fact the stories are co-written by two authors, which is perhaps why I found them so patchy. There were a few very touching moments amongst the mediocrity which is why I gave three stars instead of only two.
I fell in love with this series and all the characters. Heartbreaking at times to read. Each brother carries his own guilt but unnecessarily so. Each book is full of drama Burroughs love. I hope Sammy gets his own Hea soon.
Absolutely loved all of the stories about the Beauford brothers and their love lives!!, made me giggle out load at some of their antics, cry with sadness at their losses, and most of all their happy endings, their lovemaking was erotic and loving, what every woman wants and hankers for! so empty now I've finished the books
Enjoyed all the stories and brothers in this series. Liked the fact they were connected and allowed the reader time to become friends with the characters. The stories were all entertaining, poignant and easy to read.
This a set of amazing stories. We meet the Beauford men and that secrets of their past that are preventing them from moving forward. Of course we also see the strong, beautiful woman who help them fight for love.
I have a new author to add to my list of favorites. Ms. Pace did a beautiful job in these stories. You could see the characters and relationships develop and grow and the storylines were believable and at times heart-rending.
I loved reading this series. I like to read books like this because you know how it ends with all family members. It's a wonderful book and I enjoyed reading it.
Beauford Bend is a collection of six books about the Beauford Brothers and friends. They are all sweet, funny and sexy. I thought each was my favorite as I was reading it. Fantastic stories.
