This little book I'm sure made its way into my home when my children were young. Filled with color illustrations, it describes 24 different bugs by showing an illustration of each and describing its behavior, what it eats, etc. There are also many activities given for young people to try, along with capturing and observing some in a bug box.
It impressed me that this book, which bills as for ages 10 and under, would make a good starting point for a science fair project.
Man, am I a nerd! I remember once, when a stink bug was on our school drinking fountain and all the girls were freaking out. I wipped this book out of my pocket and identified the bug, safely removing it. Lol, I have no clue why I was varying it around. It's a nice little book for kids to carry around to get familiar with different bugs.
A tiny guide to our tiny creatures. I wish I still had my official Bug Bottle. This book rekindled my love for bugs after many years of finding them to be nuisances - at least for the next few minutes.
Took me an equivalent to an inning of baseball to down this book. I learned quite a lot about twenty-four various bugs out there. Started out kind of bland but picked up my absorption as the pages turned. So, if you'd like to learn a little bit about a lotta' bit of different types of bugs, I recommend you read this little miniature book.
