This book includes poems about scary chefs, Halloween, bugs, bats and ghosts. This book would be perfect to read all month long in October. This would be a good read aloud book because I would be able to read at least one poem per day and offer activities. These activities could be writing prompts or even a craft activity that the child could take home. This book discusses scary things and topics but in a silly enough way that it won't frighten the children, even the name is silly and draws the children in.
I personally like Halloween the most out of the other holidays. And this poem book helps the love. It's spooky, clever, and the pictures are brilliant.
