All three stories are very entertaining. One set in New Orleans, one in New York, and one in France. Interesting characters, some likeable, some not, but all believeable. A fun read.

This is one book that contains the first 3 books this author wrote. Carolyn is a food critic and travels and writes columns about the food she encounters. I read a lot of books based around food and this series isn't as good as many others I've read. Other than Caroly, her husband Jason and their son Chris all the characters are not likeable, I need characters I can like!
I really wanted to like this book. But it just didn't hold my interest. After two attempts at reading it, I give up. I found it to be very tedious. Because I was bored, I put it down after two chapters.
I loved this book because it brought together both my passions, cooking and mysteries. This book is actually three books in one and I love that! All three books are well written and the characters tend to stay with you long after you finish the book.

Three separate mysteries in New Orleans, New York, and France. Interesting characters, not all likable, however I liked the information about the sites and their history in each story.
