A native New Yorker, Chris Keniston was on her way to Australia when she fell in love with North Texas. Little did she know the balmy seventy-degree October days would turn into fry-an-egg-on-the-sidewalk heat in August!

Twenty years later, she started scribbling short stories about her favorite TV shows, giving them lives more to her liking - and the elusive happy ending. Not long after, a dear friend dragged her to a local writers’ meeting. After winning multiple writing contests and making the finals in the Romance Writers of America’s prestigious Golden Heart contest, she now spends her days, and nights, writing contemporary romantic fiction with lots of emotion, plenty of surprises, and, of course, the happily ever after.

Chris lives in suburban Dallas with her husband, two human children, and two canine children. Though she loves her puppies equally, she admits being especially attached to her German Shepherd rescue named Gunny. After all, even dogs deserve a happily ever after.

A beautiful location, wonderful weather and an intoxicating romance, what's not to like about Waikiki Wedding. These authors know just how to get you in the mood for those hot summer nights. If I had to describe this story in a few words they would be: fun, sweet with lots of heat. I loved it and look forward to reading more. Bring on the sunscreen.

Amy lives in San Francisco with her two roommates Lisa and Carrie. She gets a call from her brother Doug (His and Emily’s story was in Dive Into You) who she hasn’t seen or heard from in over twenty years. When their father died when they were young, Amy was adopted, but Doug went through the foster system. Amy has been trying to get in touch with Doug for awhile. Carrie is getting married, but her mother is trying to take over. Amy talks her into going to Hawaii for a destination wedding. Amy’s brother and his fiancee live in Hawaii. Tish lives in LA and her brother Ray from Oklahoma is visiting. Tish’s good friend Courtney is getting married in Hawaii. Ray ends up going to Hawaii with Tish to the wedding since Tish’s actor husband is away. While in the lobby of the hotel in Hawaii, Ray sees a beautiful blond sitting at a table looking at her phone. She looks up and sees Ray staring at her and their eyes meet. She thinks to herself that it is too bad he is here with his wife. In little later, Amy’s bother Doug comes into the hotel, sees her, hugs her, and swings her around. Ray thinks it is too bad that she has a husband.

The two bridal groups book a tour bus for the same tour and are all on the bus. Ray had met Doug and Amy in the hall the day before (due to a funny incident that I won’t give away). Doug introduced his fiancee Emily and his sister Amy. Ray is shocked as he though Amy was married to Doug. Ray introduces his sister Tish and Amy is shocked as she thought they were married. Both are happy the other is single. The two groups of friends get to talking and find out the two brides have to much in common and are actually marrying 30 minutes apart on the same day and same place. Ray and Amy get to spend time together on the tour getting to know each other. You need to read the book to see what happens. It is a fun and romantic book that I loved. I had read the other book too, so it was nice meeting up with some of the characters I already knew. I loved seeing how Doug was protective of Amy and Ray was protective of Tish. The two had a lot in common, yet Doug was always watching Ray because Ray is with his sister. It made for some good situations. I encourage you to read the book. I was given the book for an honest review.

I received this ARC in exchange for my honest review. Two unrelated Waikiki weddings bring two unexpecting people together in a 'love at first site' story.

I am a huge fan of Chris Keniston and this addition to the Aloha series and collaboration with Linda Steinbeck (connecting with her Unforgettable Nights series) is wonderful. This book involves a lot of cross over characters from 2 different author's series so I found I had to write out a timeline chart of who's who to keep track of people but I loved this book, nonetheless.

Amy is finally reconnecting with her brother Doug. Her roommate Carrie is getting married in Hawaii so it's a perfect opportunity for her brother to meet her there and for them to spend some much needed time together.

Ray Varner is at loose ends right now so he agrees to accompany his sister Tish to Hawaii for her best friend Courtney's wedding.

When Ray and Amy see each other for the first time in the hotel lobby it appears as if both are with a significant other and yet sparks fly nonetheless. Situations keep throwing members of both wedding parties together in such a way that eventually members of both parties, as well as Ray and Amy, connect and a really fast and sweet romance developes.

With the general wedding plans, mother-of-the-bride interference, and event planner mishaps this story is full of drama, over-protective siblings & friends but you can't help fall for Amy & Ray and their immediate connection. By the end of this story you will be a believer of the love at first site theory.

I loved the book and even downloaded Linda steinbeck's 1st book in her Unforgettable Nights series, One Night With a Stranger where you can get Lisa & Matt's story.

Waikiki Wedding (The Aloha Series Book# 8)

Chris Keniston Linda Steinberg

What happens when you bring your brother as your plus one? To a Hawaiian Wedding of all places! Ray Varner was sooo glad to get away. He’d never been out of Oklahoma in his life! Visiting paradise was just tooo perfect. All he wanted to do was make sure that little boy was ok….so why was HE getting smashed and bashed by one angry Momma!!!!!! HELP!

Amy Pratt had not slept much. Ever since that fated day……….Her brother Doug called out of the blue! Her brother whom she had not seen since….well since she was a wee little girl! And he in lived in HAWAII!!!!!!!! Linda, and Carrie were speechless! Doug was sending her an airline ticket!!!!!!

So the scene is now set. Ray and Amy were destined to meet. But how does one misplaced sister meet an add on plus one? Why at a Waikiki Wedding of course! Two wedding parties, two grooms, two brides, two families, all at the SAME hotel for a Wedding on the SAME DAY..What could go WRONG?!?!?!?!?!?

Chris and Linda must have had some really good belly laughs writing this one. Set in Paradise, mixed wedding parties, gorgeous women, hunky men, guys doing what guys do-eye beautiful girls, girls doing what girls do-talk, shop and eye hunky men! Throw in one protective brother and an equally protective sister and you have mayhem without trying!

Part of the Aloha Series this book is one of the best. So much action packed in a short novella. I chuckled a lot! So pull up chair, get yourself a drink, and settle in for some great reading! You will not be disappointed!

Given a copy for a Fair and Honest Review!

What a sweet romantic story! What a great combination of Chris's Aloha stories & Linda's Unforgettable Nights. A wedding from each of the series brings together two people & "love at first sight"! Amy is reconnecting with her brother while in Hawaii for her friends wedding. Ray is accompanying his sister to a wedding as her plus one since her fiancee is working & can't go.

These two authors have created a really sweet romance. They've taken characters from their separate series & intertwined them together. The entire group becomes friends. I loved that both Ray & Doug were protective of their sisters & we're really a lot alike. The authors didn't over romanticize things & showed the various issues couples encounter when getting married. The characters were very well developed & lifelike. The plot line could have been very safe but the authors did put some twists in & there were several funny bits where I was laughing. I throughly enjoyed this book & you will too.

I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Chris Keniston and Linda Steinberg have joined their stories and have created a book that blends two series into one. If your a fan of Chris's Aloha series or Linda's Unforgettable Night series you will enjoy the blending of families. Fri nods and family's of Carrie and Courtney fly to Hawaii to get married and end up spending a lot of time together. Throughout the week the the two couples and their friends start planing things to get and begin to form a bond.
While all of the weeding planing is going on Amy is thrilled that the wedding is in Hawaii as this makes it so she can spend time with her long lost brother and start to get to know him.
Ray is volunteered to escort his sister to her fiends wedding as he date couldn't get away and go. Ray figure this would be a break before he figure outs what is next in his life. But what he didn't expect to find was a women he couldn't resist no matter how he knew a vacation fling would end up leaving one or both of them hurt.
Will Amy and Ray's fling be a fun filled week or will it end in heart ache?

They are both in Hawaii, in separate wedding parties, and are highly attracted to one another. Doug is awesome, very protective, and quite understanding. Ray is still floating without a plan after his dreams were shattered by injury. Amy has her life planned, but only in the terms of school and career. I love Amy and Ray. I love that they spend time talking, getting to known one another.

From beginning to end I loved Waikiki Wedding:Unforgettable Night in Hawaii:
Wonderful read. Sweet, and Touching. Laugh out loud moments.

On the Island of Hawaii love was in the air. Weddings and mix-ups...
Amy and Ray had stolen some glances in the lobby of the same hotel in Hawaii that Ray was staying at. While Amy was there to see her brother, and Ray was there for a wedding things turned upside down on both there ends. On a bus tour they want on was when things were cleared up, and both were pleasantly surprised. That's when something sparked between them. Amy believed in love at first sight, but Ray not so much.

Was it a good idea to start something? They both lived pretty far from each other.

His sister, and her brother warned the other not to start anything. They shocked there siblings big time.

It's a must read so you can see what happens.

What can I say; I loved it! When Doug reached out to his sister in his book I hoped we would get to meet her and this was it! Now I need to go back and read Linda Steinberg's books. The cast of two wedding got me confused for a couple of minutes but it didn't take long to get everyone sorted out and I enjoyed LS's almost characters as much as I did CK's. I know the only difference is that I already had a connect to the Aloha family. By the end I felt part of the whole new group of friends. Love that. Amy, Ray and the whole gang are awesome. Touches of humor and wedding stress just added to the develop of romance.

Another great book by Chris Keniston (and a great addition to the Aloha series)! I've never read a book by Linda and her and Chris Keniston together are amazing. This book has the correct title because the way she describes every aspect of Hawaii, you feel like you can picture being there as an "Unforgettable Nights in Hawaii"!

Amy is in Hawaii for a destination wedding and to see her brother...her long lost brother. Of course, she didn't count on meeting a hot guy!!

I loved this book! It was sweet, fun and a captivating story!

Fantastic summer read!

Started it at night & finished it in morning. Absolutely loved the story. Thought the premise was fun and was hard to put down despite the need for sleep. Ray & Amy's story is fun while easy to imagine the chemistry between them. As usual the novella is well written and will keep you entertained till the last page. It was also fun to check in on some of the characters from the Aloha Texas series. Highly recommend this book and the entire series.
