These are not books, they're short stories. All 12 of them together would be a book. And I really wish authors would hire editors that actually know the difference between to and too and who's and whose.

Ho lasciato passare svariati mesi dal volume precedente della serie perché leggere questa roba tutta insieme… no, sarebbe davvero troppo, del tipo “Oh no, mi è venuta l’ulcera!”.
Sono andata a rileggermi le recensioni dei mesi precedenti perché, per fortuna, avevo completamente cancellato ogni dettaglio di questa insulsa serie.
Ahimè… il livello continua a essere penoso a voler essere buona.
Ci saranno spoiler, ma alla fin della fiera non succede nulla in queste paginette, a parte vari incontri sessuali, quindi non è che dirò poi molto.
Allora, l’escort Mia, come ci tiene ad essere chiamata, perché lei non è una pu*****, anche se viene pagata per far sesso, si ritrova a Boston per fare da finta fidanzata al campione di baseball Mason.
Mamma mia che fantasia… anche il mese precedente era successa la stessa cosa…
Comunque appena vede Mace va in brodo di giuggiole, per non dire che le sue mutandine sono un fiume in piena.
La caratterizzazione dei personaggi è fantastica…

Boh, alla fine cosa succede in questo “libro”? Allora, i due vanno alle partite, alle feste, alle cene, a fare sesso, con altri… stop.
Tanto per cambiare un attimo la solfa, la Carlan ci ha buttato dentro un evento benefico per raccogliere fondi per la lotta al cancro al seno. Caspita, sarebbe anche bello, peccato che poi ha deciso di rovinare tutto mettendo dentro un’asta con i giocatori di baseball mezzi nudi e con le cameriere che vagavano per la sala con magliette con su scritto:
”Salviamo le nostre tette”
Piango…
E poi Mia si traveste da cupido perché ha capito che Mace è innamorato di Rachel, la sua pr, e anche lei lo ricambia, ma hanno solo bisogno di una spinta.. e bla bla bla.
Poi bisognava comunque mettere dentro quel poveraccio di Wes, che si è capito subito che alla fine dell’anno da escort i due si metteranno insieme, ma quando lei lo chiama, ma solo perché si sente sola visto che son ben 2 settimane che non fa sesso…e lui è con un’altra!
Ahahahah ti sta bene!
E per consolarsi dove va? Ma dal francesino! Perché lei lo ama! Beh più o meno…

This book wasn't the worst one in the series. I kinda liked Mia at some point, she is developing as a character, which I like. The story in this book wasn't all about her and the steamy sex she has as well. Next to that, she is doing something good for society, so it was pretty okay.

Mia: At some point in this book I could relate to Mia. I understood the choices she made and she felt more like a real person.
Think Pink: The fact that there is breastcancer awareness in this book is something I could appreciate. I like the fact that the book wasn't all about the sex, this one. It was more about the story, doing good things and about Mia as a person.
Solid Story: The story wasn't about having sex all month and earning a lot of money with it. It wasn't about how Mia is having 5 orgasms a day and receiving new clothes and going to great parties. This story was more about the people around you, about growing as a person and helping out.
Cons
Mia: So Mia get's better this book, but I'm still not that fond of her. The fact that she can't go without an orgasm for 2 weeks and is spying on people who have sex to get off herself, is really not something that was necessary in this book.
This book was a little better than last one. Mia is developing as a character and I hope the books are getting better. It's a quick read, for about a 100 pages and I feel like these books shouldn't be any longer. It's just a nice light read for in between books.

This month Mia is the pretend girlfriend of baseball player Mason. It's another great book in this series, although I did enjoy it a bit less than the previous ones, not quite sure why. It was pretty hard to like Mason at first, he was rude, a player, treated women badly, drank too much, arrogant and immature. Mia is there to help his image by being his pretend girlfriend and it was great to see the change in Mason. I think the change went a bit fast, but it was believable. He slowly started changing his attitude and it made more sense why he acted that way in the first place. I did like him more at the end after he's changed, but I didn't like him as much as Mia her previous clients.
There's also a plot development and two scenes towards the end of the book which were so predictable and cliché it annoyed me a bit. When the scene started I knew what would happen next and ofcourse it did and even how it got solved was predictable once the set-up scene happened. I understood why the characters acted that way, but I've just seen that particular type of scene too often.
Just like in the other books it's awesome to see what impact Mia has on the life of those she visits and how they in turn help or and become her new friends. In this book Mia not only helps mason, she also get's a glimpse of the life of a professional baseball play and helps organize a charity auction. We got a small view of the other ball players and a few scenes with those, but it's mostly about Mason, Mia and Rachel. I really enjoyed the charity event and thought it was great what they accomplished.
We also keep hearing from the previous clients, which I thought was a nice addition as it gives the series a feel of continuity. Both Alec and Wes play a role. There's also a phone call that Mia has with her best friend Gin, although I agreed with Rachel that it's weird how they interact, I also think it's great Mia has such a great friend.
To summarize: I liked this one a bit less than the previous books, but it was still a good book, There's a nice romance, some sex scenes and new developments in the bigger plot line. I really didn't like Mason at first, but he changes a lot. I liked seeing Mason change and even Mia learn a few new things again and be able to make a difference in Mason his life and leave the city with two new friends. Re-read in sept 2020, going to lower my rating down to 3 stars (I´m more picky in my ratings now than I was back when I started here).
I'm really liking this series. Every book is like a chapter, divided into smaller chapters.
I like how this series is played out, going one month at a time.

This was a book without great emotions or a great story, I did not really sympathize with Mason nor do I think it added something new to Mia's life. Except the lesson she draws from each of the clients.
And it was a disappointment to Wes's situation, though I could understand, my romantic side was hoping for better.

I definitely enjoyed reading this book, but I liked March better. I liked the fact that Mia, again, tries to something good for her client. The reason why I liked March better was because I'm curious for what May will bring me though.

Avec le résumé de ce 4e tome de la série Calendar Girl, j'avais de grandes attentes. Je suis une grande fan de romance sportive et j'étais sincèrement très excitée que Mia puisse passer un mois avec un joueur de baseball professionnel. Malheureusement pour moi, ce n'est pas là-dessus que l'auteure a mis l'emphase.
Cette fois, Mia s'envole pour Boston où elle fera la connaissance de Mason, un joueur de baseball de l'équipe des Red Sox dont elle est fan. Elle qui croyait passer un super mois à regarder des parties, manger des hot-dog et passer du temps avec un bel homme, elle s'était bien trompée. Dès sa première rencontre avec Mason, elle se rend vite compte qu'il est vulgaire, offensant et macho. Tout un contrat!
Dans l'ensemble, je dirais que ce tome n'est pas mon préféré de la série. Comme on l'indique dans la résumé, Mia aura une mauvaise nouvelle au début de se tome et ça va miner de beaucoup son enthousiasme. J'aime la Mia fonceuse au franc parlé. Mais ce mois-ci, Mia n'est pas dans son assiette. Elle va perdre cette belle confiance en elle qui la caractérise et j'ai trouvé le tout très dommage. Son histoire avec Mason va se révéler assez drôle, mais ce n'était pas assez pour me satisfaire.
Bref, un tome qui se lit toujours aussi rapidement, mais pas le meilleur de la série jusqu'à maintenant. Mia s'efface un peu trop à mon goût et j'ai trouvé ça triste. De plus, moi qui croyait avoir droit à quelques scènes de sport ou avec l'équipe de Mason, je m'étais trompée. J'aurais aimé en avoir plus. Mais il ne faut s'inquiéter, je suis toujours aussi impatiente de découvrir le prochain tome de la série. Surtout que cette fois, je ne sais pas du tout à quoi m'attendre.

Dit deel van de serie vond ik iets minder. Totaal niet geloofwaardig en ik vond Mace ook maar een eikel. En dan dat benefietgala dat ze organiseren, neh, dat vond ik ook helemaal niks.
Wel vind ik het leuk dat Wes weer even genoemd werd in dit verhaal, maar ook dat viel me een beetje tegen. Ondanks dat lees ik volgende maand wel weer mee, want ik vind het zo leuk om bij BooksEverAfter erover te praten.

Waar het bij Maart beter ging, heeft April het weer verpest, haha. Het had een compleet seksloos boek kunnen zijn, maar nope. Ik heb vaak met mijn ogen gedraaid bij dit deel. Maar ik haat het dat deze serie eigenlijk ook zo verslavend is... Dus telt dit dan stiekem ook mee als vier sterren? Wie zal het zeggen...

Wat was dit nou? Het Maart deel was best aardig en dit vierde deel was zelfs minder goed dan februari! Mia wordt neergezet als een 'engel' die in iedereen het beste en juiste naar boven brengt, de reddende engel , de koppelaarster, het meisje met de levenswijsheid van een bejaarde. Zo irritant. Ook het benefiet gebeuren voor borstkanker stoorde me. Gewoon te simpel verzonnen. Vond dit deel in zijn geheel te simpel verzonnen. Ga nu zwaar twijfelen aan deze serie.

Mia é contratada para ser a namorada jogador de beisebol Mason Murphy. Mace é um mulherengo que trata as mulheres como se fossem dispensáveis, e sente a mesma vontade de se divertir com Mia. Ele só não esperava que ela fosse durona, mas tudo se torna discutível quando Mia descobre que tipo de homem Mason realmente é.

Nouja, niet helemaal "finished". Op driekwart van het boek trok ik het echt niet meer.
Het oogrollen begon op de eerste pagina al:
"Hij had roodbruin haar en een zelfverzekerd lachje dat al zijn vrouwelijke fans waarschijnlijk een nat slipje bezorgde, maar ik was minder snel onder de indruk."
Minder snel onder de indruk? Pardon? Hebben we het nog steeds over dezelfde Mia? De Mia die alleen bij het zíén van een gast al door kamers glibbert? Right...
En toen, slechts een pagina verder, kreeg ik dit te lezen: "Zijn tong streek over zijn volle onderlip. mijn lijf reageerde meteen met een aangename tinteling tussen mijn dijen [...].
Mijn ogen hebben letterlijk overuren gerold in mijn oogkassen en mijn keel heeft volgens mij serieuze schade opgelopen van al het zuchten. En dat allemaal in minder dan 100 pagina's! Serieus, dit is gewoon écht slecht :-(. Vervolgens kwam er een redelijk stuk, maar alsnog werd ik gek van de seks. Was het dit keer niet Mia, waren het wel de groupies die in geur en kleur beschreven werden. En op het moment dat ze weer eens zat te klagen dat ze Wes zo miste en , was het voor mij echt klaar. Bluh. 1* voor de moeite.
Ik ben serieus chagrijnig geworden van dit boek, ga maar snel even met Harry Potter in het zonnetje zitten om weer vrolijk te worden :).
Mijn tip? Sla deze reeks over :-). Beter voor je hart, haha!

April has Mia traveling to Boston - I loved the story surrounding Boston and Baseball!! It was a fun little addition and I'm glad the author has changed it up a bit with her life. We are definitely growing with Mia and navigating all her situations - really enjoying this series and the matchmaking she gets to do!!!

This month’s journey has a lot of special, deeper meaning (that I very well could be making up!) hidden in the story. Friendship, forgiveness, and acceptance stood out to me. I love watching Mia bloom as this road leads her across the country.
Oh, and did I say anything about the heat level yet? NO!? Well, let me correct that. This book, and Mia’s encounters, are hot enough to make your panties damp, make you squirm, and make you want to climb men like trees.
I can’t wait to see Mia again next month! ~ Devlynn, 4.5 stars

J'apprécie de plus en plus cette petite saga qui se déroule sur une année !
Le mois débutant difficilement avec un Mason qui se comportait comme un vrai connard. Au fil du mois, j'ai pu apprécié un mec sympa, adorable et très attachant.
De ce mois, Mia retiendra qu'elle doit vivre chaque instant et ne pas s'empêcher de faire des choses pour être heureuse dans la vie.
"Taking chances toward your special happiness is important, and far too often people stuck in the daily grind, or think the life they are living just can't get any, better, even when they know the aren't happy.

Başrollerde bir İrlandalı olunca çok şey beklemiştim ben ama ümitlerim suya düştü :( :D Ama olsun.. Mason 'Mace' Murphy ile tanışmak bile yetti.. Canım yaa.. Çok sevdim..

Ce n est pas comme si j avais 6 mois de retard lol j ai donc dévoré ce mois d avril et j ai bien ri avec Mason Murphy , quel numéro celui là
J aime vraiment les choix que Mia va faire dans ce tome car elle va nous montrer une autre facette d elle même et quel plaisir de retrouver un personnage présent précédemment

I have to say the further I get into these novellas the more I love how the story is evolving. This time mia is in Boston on adventures with Mason the baseball player And what a player he is. I loved the characters she meets and bonds with the lessons she is learning and the questions she is trying to navigate for herself.

Dit was wel weer een leuk deel van de serie. Net zoals maart ging het dit keer ook niet puur om de seks maar was er ook echt nog een verhaal omheen

Kesinlikle Mart kitabından iyiydi. Yine de hala Wes ile ilgili durumlar sinirimi bozuyor. Sinir ola ola bitireceğim bu gidişle seriyi :D
