I was so happy to see that “Collar Me Foxy” has a different setting than the usual BDSM club with playrooms and dungeons. In this story our heroine travels to a resort in a private island to participate in an auction where she will be sold to a dom in order to spend a week with him in the tropical paradise.
I enjoyed all the BDSM scenes in this book, I liked the fact that they started with a more simple scene in order to get to know each other and didn’t immediately jump to more extreme practices, that being said that scene was still pretty steamy and we do get to see the artistic side of Master Felix.
Things only got better and better from there on, the story always kept me wandering what kind of teasing Felix had next for Tessa and I was always excited when I found out.
“I could give you agony for days, draw your beloved torment out to the point of cruelty. What would my little fox do then, I wonder?”
Their attraction was evident from the first moment they set their eyes on each other and it grows more as they continue to play, we do get just a glimpse of their backstory and it is obvious that Felix had some past issues that i am hoping we will see him overcome in the next books and find his happiness with Tessa.

This is the story of Tessa, a woman on her way to fulfilling her plan of living in France. First she has to earn the money by going to an exclusive island where she's been invited to be one of the submissives for a week. There she meets Sir Felix who quickly becomes Master Felix, a Dom who seems to know her in and out after only a few hours and fulfils her kinky sexual fantasies. But what will happen after the week ends?
This is my first time of reading this author and I will certainly read her again. The location is well described and I felt as if I was there with the characters. The erotic scenes totally sizzled and were tastefully done. Great thought was put into describing each scene and interaction between the Tessa and her Master.
The characters were perhaps a little too perfect--Tessa being the perfect submissive. She just went with the flow. And Felix was the perfect Master able to seemly read her mind and give her everything she desired.
That was all good. But I wanted more. I wanted to know the people behind the kinky role play. I wanted to connect with them and this didn't happen until the end of the story when their insecurities started to show and I started seeing them as fallible humans beings.
Unfortunately this ends with a cliff-hanger. Many things are left unresolved. Do I care enough about the characters to want to read the next book? I don't know. We'll see.
However, I still recommend this book to fans of BDSM erotica because the BDSM and the erotica are really well done, which makes this is a solid 4 Lovebites read.

I had the pleasure to beta read this book. Good BDSM fun! Lifestyle sub Tessa needs money to finance her dream of studying in France. The perfect opportunity presents itself when the classy BDSM organization Club Vitalz requests her to sign up for an exclusive one-week event on a luxurious tropical island. A group of ridiculously wealthy Doms wish to have experienced subs to play with. Sounds like a win-win situation for Tessa: money, kinky fun, no strings attached. But on the island she ends up in the hands of a handsome Dom, and I got the vibe that "no strings attached" is not what he has in mind...
I totally love the premise of this book. A week long kinky holiday on a paradise island, all expenses covered? A mouth-watering thought, sign me up! I enjoyed the main character Tessa. She's not squeamish or a pushover. She's a determined young woman who knows what she wants. I love level-headed subs who aren't ashamed to admit they enjoy pain and humiliation. The sex and the BDSM play are hot and well-written. I particularly appreciate it that the BDSM is depicted practised responsibly. The subs are tortured by the book, with before and aftercare. This is the first part of a series, so the book ends in a cliffhanger. Collar Me Foxy pretty much only sets the stage - the main conflict is yet to come. Nonetheless, hot kinky fun definitely worth reading. I look forward to the next part and finding out where this goes!

This is the first in the series, and leaves us wanting to know more about this intriguing couple. Tessa, an experienced sub is asked by her BDSM club if she would go to a mysterious island for a week in exchange for a lot of money ... this would mean that she could fulfil a lifetime's ambition. Obviously she takes the chance, and we get to see just what happens on her adventure. She is an interesting sub, as clearly very experienced, yet not yet collared - her opinion of herself is fascinating to read, and understand. Master Felix who bids for her, has no doubt that she is a diamond in the auction and delights in her. Watching the dynamics between these two sizzle makes for very enjoyable reading - a fan might be useful!
I cannot wait to read what happens next, as there is clearly more than just a D/s holiday feel to this pair.

The blurb really grabbed my attention and I couldn't wait to start this book.
I enjoyed the novella and the world it created but for me, it got off to a slow start. I learned a lot about Tessa, but not much is known about the Dom who bought her during the auction.
Tessa seems to be a smart woman, a woman who understands the wherefores and whys of why she was asked to take part in this sort of week long experience, but as a reader, I got the impression that she was somehow doubting herself and her instincts except when she was under the command of a Dom.
I want to read the next installment so that I can get a better sense of just who Tessa really is and why her Dom feels so insecure outside the Dom/sub relationship.

I received a free copy as I had agreed to beta read the next one in the series, so the author provided this for context.
I like the concept of a novella per day/night describing the different events, building up characters and relationships over the week, and I thought the erotic parts were tasteful and well written. No crass wham bam etc, rather, drawn out sensual pleasure, which makes for much better erotica.
The setting and story are imaginative (if unrealistic, but hey, this is fiction) and the two main characters are well portrayed even in this short introductory novel.
It's a very good intro to the series of Dark Day Isle, with only a few minor typos, that don't detract from the story. Recommended for readers who like interesting consensual erotica with a difference.

A must-read novella that will leave you breathless, and craving more! Tessa and Felix's chemistry was so hot! Felix is a dominant who is willing to pay whatever it takes for his perfect submissive. Tessa is an experienced submissive with dreams of moving to France. Does Tessa have what it takes to be Felix's temporary submissive? Does Felix want more than a temporary submissive? My jaw dropped at the end, wondering what will happen next. I loved this story and can't wait for the next book!

More Than She Bargained For!
Tessa Fauns believes she’s killing two birds with one stone – indulging in her submissive kink side, and acquiring a substantial amount of money to aid in her dream of living and studying in France – when she agrees to take part in an exclusive BDSM retreat for one week. Of course, things are never as easy as they sound.
Mildly overwhelmed from the start, her anxiety only increases as she finds out submissives will be auctioned off to the highest bidders for the week, definitely a new experience for Tessa. She is thrown for a loop at the amount paid for her at the auction, but pleased when she finds out the highest bidder, Sir Felix, is a handsome man she caught a brief glimpse of when taking the auction stage.
Being ignorant of all things BDSM-related, I focused in on the amount of trust needed to enter into a power exchange agreement. I admired Tessa for her honest internal thoughts. She reveled in her submissive nature and readily admitted that it had “freed” her, giving her the confidence to deal with life on her own. This same confidence also keeps her focused. Her master was attractive, but was he a good Dom or a bad Dom? (Sorry! Could not resist that!) Fortunately for Tessa, while Sir Felix wants her to do things with him she’s never experienced before, he isn’t cruel and their level of kink seem to match.
Of course, this is ROMANTIC erotica, so while the experiences Sir Felix share are highly sensual (and pretty hot and well-written), good old emotions start popping into the mix. Tessa has to repeatedly caution herself to not get caught in the trap so many subs do and develop feelings for Sir Felix. Even when she believes she might actually be getting the same vibe from him, she mentally tries to shake it off. Awaking in the middle of the night to hear bits and pieces of a conversation between Sir Felix and kink-week facilitator, Sir Louis, Tessa sinks into inner-emotional turmoil, and she believes the only way to save herself is to end her agreement with Sir Felix.
And then it ended…just like that. And I was like, “What? Wait! Who? What? UGH!” *Deep breaths* Yes, there is a cliffhanger warning, but I thought I’d be looking over the edge, not literally HANGING from it!
The author has done a great job of building intensity and interest. Although a short read, characters are developed and do not feel like strangers. I liked Tessa and Felix both, and am already in their corner for an HEA beyond the end of kink-week.
Can’t believe I’m actually doing this, but yes, I am wholeheartedly recommending a cliffhanger! (Stop laughing!) The sensuality is off the charts, but there is also mystery and underlying secrets that will make you keep reading.

What an intriguing storyline! Tessa is a submissive who happens to belong to an underground BDSM club. A Club that has locations in all the major cities worldwide. Tessa, having just moved and settled in Los Angeles, however, hadn’t been to any of the clubs in ages. She was extremely surprised to be called in to the local location and offered ten thousand dollars, as well as, an all expense paid week on a remote island to participate in weeklong submissive venture. Needing the money, Tessa agrees, having no real clue what the venture entails.
Once she arrives Tessa learns she is to be auctioned off daily or if the winning Dom/Domme wishes, they can purchase the entire week. There are more submissives than Doms. Will Tessa be won for the first night or have playtime with those not chosen? Collar me Foxy is the 1st novella in the series that spans Tessa’s first day/night on the island. I don’t do spoilers so I can say little else without giving anything away. However I will say this is a definite, must have book and I can’t wait for part 2 or Tessa’s next night on Dark Day Isle!
I can easily give this one 5 stars and a resounding 2 thumbs up for an intriguing novella that will definitely keep you turning pages!

A secret event that is exclusive and discreet, a grand opportunity for Tessa to get her foot in the direction she wants to go. A whole of being someones submissive oh yeah she can do this.
I found the story delightful, entertaining and hella hot. The story easy to read, the characters east to like and identify with. Nice flow to the story line, great length and I loved the scenes. The subs willingness to please and to try new things, she didn’t hide her apprehension but she still was good with trying things. The Dom his attentiveness how he watched her responses even the ones when they didn’t scene. The dedication in making sure she gets what she needs as well as his own needs.
I’m so not a cliff hanger lover, I like having the next book at my fingertips before reading the first book. Its a big cliff hanger but the story was amazing enough to make you anticipate the next book. It was a pleasure in reading and reviewing this ARC, I do recommend it. Enjoy.

I love BDSM stories so of course I jumped at the chance to review this one when it came across my email. This novella is really short. It'll take you no time to read it. I enjoyed the time between Felix & Tessa. She seems to trust easy and is willing to put her faith in this new Dom she's asked to call Master for a week.
Felix has an ulterior motive. Just what it is - is anyone's guess. The novella ends on a cliffhanger leaving you wanting to read more about these two and what's in store for them.
When they got together Felix gave her a collar to wear and played into Tessa's fantasies. He showed jealousy and was already possessive of Tessa. This particular novella has many holes of which I hope are cleared up in the future stories of these two characters.

Collar me Foxy is short, sexy and a great set up for the rest of the series. I can't wait to see what happens. You can read this in maybe an hour and a half...
Tessa is a submissive at an exclusive club. She's asked to be one of a group to take a "working vacation" to the tune of 10 thousand Dollars for a weeks worth of submission. After an internal struggle, does this make me a prostitute or no???? she decides to go for it as it will help her realize her dream to live and learn in France.
Sir Felix, a wealthy french man, simply MUST have Tessa. So he wins her at auction...yep, auction...That's where they become Master and pet and have to perform live, on stage.
Tessa overhears Sir Felix, now Master Felix, and Louis, the island manager, but she just doesn't understand what it means.
Eep, I can't wait to grab the next in the series.

This is powerful and hot, yet also sweet in some ways. I loved the characters, esp Felix. His style of Dominance is just perfect imo. This is also a well-written book, with an actual storyline!! 😀 Its not just one scene after another.
The way Felix is shown as vulnerable at times is really well done. Too often both in writing and irl it's forgotten that Doms aren't always in Dom mode. Needing care and and attention doesn't make a Dom any less of a Dominant or their sub any less of a submissive.
I can't wait to start on book 2

Designation: Book 1 in a series, Club Vitalz Novella
There are only 5 chapters in this novella, but boy they were so very good and left me anxious for more.
Tessa Fauns is offered $10,000 in exchange for her to be a sub for a week at a private party for Club Vitalz. The first night she is auctioned off to her new master who is patient, but at the same time he pushes her to try new things. At times she is so happy with him that she thinks about wanting more from him, but since there agreement is only for one week she has to protect herself from getting emotionally involved.
This is a novella with a cliffhanger ending and it only covers the first day of her week long adventure. This was so different from other BDSM books that I have read and I completely loved the mystery around the event and who Master Felix really is. Although it was very short....it covered a lot of ground and left me wanting the next book, Scavenger!
