About the author

Michael Bond, CBE was an English children's author. He was the creator of Paddington Bear and wrote about the adventures of a guinea pig named Olga da Polga, as well as the animated BBC TV series The Herbs. Bond also wrote culinary mystery stories for adults featuring Monsieur Pamplemousse and his faithful bloodhound, Pommes Frites.

Toen ik ze kocht had ik niet door dat het kartonnen bladzijdes zijn, waardoor het wel heel dunne boekjes zijn haha. Maar alsnog erg schattig!

These were cute books! I think they should count as 4 books to my goal. But they are short. So maybe it is okay that they only count as 1

This is a small very short board book set aimed at the youngest of kids but I also loved looking at the pictures! Yes I know I'm a big kid and it was nice to add it to my collection. There are four adventures-a shortened version of how Paddington came to live with the Brown family, Paddington going shopping for essential supplies, Paddington keeping busy at home with baking and gardening, and Paddington recreating the seaside in the privacy of his own garden.
