Bailey I grew up in the Wild Kings MC. My dad and brother are both members. Since I was a girl, I wanted to do everything my brother and his friends did and prove to them that I could do it better than they did. Everything changed for me when I started having feelings for Grim. He became the love of my life. Even though I am hurt on a daily basis by his need for club girls, I can’t just shut my feelings off for him. Brock ‘Gage’ Wilson is the President of a different chapter of the Wild Kings MC. I’ve known him my whole life and we started having a friends with benefits relationship. Am I using him to try to get over my love for Grim? In a way, yes. But, he has his own demons he’s fighting. That is until tragedy strikes and we suffer a tremendous loss. Grim I am the President of the Wild Kings MC. My dad was in the club and I decided early on to follow in his footsteps. There’s nothing like knowing you have a group of men, family, that have your back and will do anything to support you. Growing up with Joker, Cage, Irish, and Glock they quickly became my best friends and I would lay down my life for them. Bailey, Joker’s little sister, was always trying to copy everything we did. So, I took it upon myself to make sure she didn’t get in trouble and didn’t get hurt. In doing that, I started to have feelings for her that I have no business feeling. I don’t want an old lady. Never have, never will! Club girls know what I want and don’t pressure me for more. A different one every time ensures that they won’t get attached. That all changes when Bailey suffers a tragic loss. She pushes me away and my heart shatters. I don’t know if I can live with Bailey gone and I don’t know what to do to make all the pain I’ve caused better. Can Bailey get past her pain and move on? Is Grim too late to fix his mistakes? Will more danger tear them apart for good? Or can Grim and Bailey find a way to come together?
This book is intended to be read by individuals 18 and over. There are some triggers in this story of losing a child, sex, and offensive language.
Bailey can't take anymore, she has to get away from Grim. If he isn't going to take a chance on them and sleep with every girl but her, she isn't going to stick around. Grim loves Bailey but doesn't think he deserves her, doesn't want to put her in the crosshairs of their enemies as his woman. When she leaves, it gets his attention like nothing else had. When he finally gets her back, he isn't going to let her go again!
Erin Osborne manages to get me in the feels every time I read one of her books. Bailey's story caused me to shed a few tears and I think that is the hallmark of a good author. That they can make you feel. She takes you on a journey with her characters. You experience everything with them. As Bailey and Grim get together and start building a life, the bond they forge between them solidifies and it is beautiful to watch. As the club faces threats and grows, they are still quick to help people in need. It is all these things that make the Wild Kings MC stories stand out to me. I am so glad to have discovered this talented lady now when she has so many books out for me to binge on. 4.5 stars for Bailey and Grim!
So let me start off by saying I did not read Skylar's Saviors and I do believe that it affected my enjoyment of the story. Despite that, I still stand with my 3 star rating.....
So I did enjoy this story, but only enjoyed it. I had a few issues that I wanted to point out. First, I found the writing a little awkward. It wasn't bad writing, it just didn't have the most enjoyable flow. The second thing about the writing that bugged me was that there were so many different PoVs. The majority of the story was told through Bailey or Grim's PoV, but there were sections told by at least 7 other characters (I think there might have been more than that actually, but I remember 7). This leads to the next issue, the book felt very long and I am sure that was partly due to certain sections of the story being retold due to a new PoV.
The other big issue I had, was that I was overwhelmed with characters. There were a ton of different people in this book and and Erin killed me with the names! First, everyone had nickname and a real name (typical with MC), but they were often used interchangeably. In one part of the book, Skylar asks, "Who is Logan?" When one of your own main characters is confused, it kind of makes sense that I can't keep track either. (Btw, Logan is Grim, our hero!) Then, so many characters had similar names......there was Cage and Gage, Addison and Maddison, Crazy girl (Bailey) and Crazy, and Slim and Slim Jim!
Now, as far as plot....it was kind of like the writing, a little awkward. I don't want to get into detail and ruin it for others, but the interpersonal story line was very relatable, and I really enjoyed the story telling here. (The author's note at the end makes me want to send <3 to Erin!) The MC side to the story, however had issues. I am sorry, but someone in my family is hurt by someone you can track down you better believe I am going out and kicking some a$$ rather than waiting around for them to come back and do more damage!
In the end, despite all this I did still enjoy the overall story telling and I will be interested in reading the next book and going back to Skylar's story as long as they are available on KU! It is an obvious thing to say, but as Erin writes more, I am sure I will enjoy her books more and more.
I actually stopped reading this story for a few days because quite honestly Bailey was getting on my last nerve by not seeking professional help about losing her baby. I really hate to know that any woman has to go through something like this in life, but we all know that when God is ready for a special angel, then there is not much we can do except grieve in your own way. Grim has loved his crazy girl for a long time and he fought his feelings, but I think he finally opened his eyes and heart more when Bailey lost her baby, because he was Gage's child. He had the memorial bench made for her to go to when she needed alone time. They finally got together and then she winds up pregnant again with Grim's baby and it throws her back to being nervous and thank goodness for her therapist Karen that eases her mind. Lots of twist and turns and deranged men involved in sex trafficking, and one of them is Maddie's ex Brad. Happy reading.
This series is one of my favorite MC story lines because of the close-knit group of the Wild Kings as a whole, but also because these men were possessive but would give everything, including their lives, if it meant their women were safe and happy.
Bailey and Grim's story was nothing short of heartbreaking, full of tension, and oh so worth it in the end. I love how these Wild Kings love so hard once they commit and never let go while also having such a supportive, family dynamic.
Bailey broke my heart so much throughout this story and Grim was the only man that could piece her heart back together and help her heal. Grim has always loved Bailey from the start but always knew she deserved someone better than him, but when push came to shove, he decided he would never be able to let Bailey go.
This was a fantastic read – what I really like about it was that we got the entire story – the good with the bad – yes it’s a long read but well worth it. Bailey has loved Grim for years, he’s had feelings for her but won’t act on them because of who he is and who her brother and father are. When he finds her on the floor passed out he’s done pretending – but she throws it back in his face since now she has to work through what happened to her. Once she spirals and finally moves back home he stakes his claim and is willing to do what is necessary to make sure that she realizes that he’s in for the long haul.
Bailey, wow. You get a taste of who she is the Skylar's book, but wow. The development of her character is amazing. She's a sassy and brassy girl that is dealt a horrible blow and doesn't know how to move on from there. From there is up, hopefully. With the help of Logan (Grim) she slowly moves forward even with more ups and downs. I think it was beautiful to see how things progress from there. Logan, commands attention and respect. With the lengths that he goes to for his family, I love him. Story is heart breaking and wonderful. To show the strength of the female character to overcome such tragedy is great to see and I think relateable to any female.
I do not like Bailey at all. I didn't like her in the first book in the series and she did nothing to redeem herself in my eyes. I would like to congratulate Erine Osborne for being one of very few people that have succeeded in making me hate a word; ABSOLUTELY. I really wish that this word would not be used in a book ever again. When a word is used to frequently it takes the meaning of the word away. Still numerous spelling and grammatical errors to count. The only thing that saved this book for me was the whole Darcy, Wood, Crash and Trojan scenes. They made this book for me.
Bailey's Saving Grace...Loved this story. Grim aka Logan is Male lead, Pres of Wild Kings, Bailey is leading lady. If you read Skylar's Saviors(book one) then you know all about Bailey. This story starts off were Book one ends so I highly recommend reading it before Baily and Grim's story. Osborne has a way of pulling you into her stories by her amazing characters and storyline. Happy Reading!!!
This storyline keeps you on the edge of your seat and is told mainly from the main couple's perspective but has a few others thrown in for good measure. The characters are all awesome and continue to grow throughout the book. This second book of the series is a bit heavier on the MC side of things than the first book, but not over done. This storyline covers so many emotions from many people that it keeps the book flowing and keeps you involved.
I love Bailey and Grim. They had to fight through odds to be together. Tragedy, sorrow and grief usually tear people apart. Grim was determined to help Bailey heal. She became stronger and together they healed a lot of wounds, both physically and mentally. I loved watching them grow both individually and as a couple.
I give this book 5 stars. It has everything that I wanted to read and more characters to good along with the series. I've really enjoyed this book so much that I read it straight for 11 hours without sleep but a lot of energy drinks. I can't was to read the next book. 👍👍 to you Erin and an awesome story with more to come.
I've loved Bailey from book one and I was so happy she got her HEA. Bailey is strong, and definitely my kinda girl. I honestly felt for her in part of the book because I've personally been down that road too!
I can't decide whether this one of the first one is my favourite.. I loved Bailey and I liked the bits we get about skylar and the other members of the club can't wait to read Tank's story. This series could get addictive.
I found this one a bit boring but I did love Grim and Bailey. I just kept hoping for some action. Just when you think something is about to happen and you're getting all excited yet to get disappointed. But it was a crucial book to read before the third.
Erin Osborne is amazing. This story is heart breaking and love conquers. What Bailey goes through and comes out stronger with her man is awesome. The fact that some of the story is based on real life experiences makes it more amazing.
DNF at 24%. I honestly cannot stick the juvenile conversation and thoughts and the constant pity party from Bailey. The blurb happens in 20% of the book. I just can't read anymore it's too childish for me
Bailey's Saving Grace was full of heart break, love, hope, crazy attraction just to mention a few emotions. A beautiful story that touched on a subject that people often don't want to talk about, while mixed with a bit of MC action & hot TLC
I love Bailey! It's so much raw emotions. It's like your going through the tragedy with her. Grim is the prez has the weight of the world on his shoulders.
