This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the original. Due to its age, it may contain imperfections such as marks, notations, marginalia and flawed pages. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions that are true to the original work.
My rare copy of this biography is not the complete text. Mine is a thin bound book between traditional covers which I believe to be a salesmen's sample. Each chapter only contains the first four or five pages of the same chapter in the larger work. Despite this textual compaction, all the interesting photos are provided. The limited text that I do have in each chapter reveals the exalted hagiography of Teddy clearly was meant to capture reader who admired Mr. Roosevelt. The larger book and my shrunk copy were both published in the same year as the president's death: 1919.
