After a haphazard career spent working and travelling around the world, I stumbled into romance writing as a way to fund a PhD. My first book, A Sweeter Prejudice, came out in 1991, and since then I've written a further 59 books, some of which have won awards in the US and the UK.
I live in York, a historic city in the north of England, and waste the best part of my days planning trips away or on Facebook and Twitter, both of which mean that I end up writing late into the night. As well as romance, I write 'time slips' as Pamela Hartshorne, and am a freelance project editor and occasional writing tutor.

In May 2013 I will publishing the Jessica Hart Vintage Collection of five of my early books from the 90s.

Lucy West has always lead a carefree bohemian lifestyle; flitting from one job to another and falling out of love as quickly as she fell in love. She loves her job as station cook on an outback ranch in Australia; that is until Guy Dangerfield arrives. Guy needed a break from his responsibilities as CEO of his family run bank, and the amicable breakup with his latest girl. A holiday with his cousin Hal was just the ticket. There was something about Hal’s new cook that compelled him to tease and flirt with her. When it’s urgent that Lucy return to England, Guy who is already booked for his return, arranges for Lucy to accompany him. When they arrive in London, Guy puts her up for a few days, and he challenges her to find a “real” job, not a silly temp job in a coffee shop, but a real grownup job. Lucy shocks him by landing a job in his bank. And the adventure begins.

After some prompting by Guy to take a good hard look at her life, Lucy realizes she’s always had her older sister to look out for her and that she’s never committed to anything. As her attraction for Guy becomes stronger, she wants to very much be a girl that he can take “seriously”. Ms. Hart wrote this one strictly from Lucy’s point of view, so it was difficult to read Guy. His ability to hide his feelings is part of the plot, but not one that worked well for me. I would have enjoyed this one much more, had I had a few glimpses of what he was thinking or feeling. This is an enjoyable book, with a few laugh-out-loud moments

Heroine is an immature twit. Liked the hero though.

A really sweet romance, and I loved the characters! The end felt a bit choppy but it wasn't a big deal.

A Noiva Mais Linda do Mundo!
Encontro no Altar.
Jessica Hart.
H. Special 36.
2011.

Recomendo!!!

The pleasure of having two fun characters - one bubbly but a little shallow, one hiding behind his humour - was a refreshing change. No grumpy hero, just chemistry, chemistry, chemistry.

Jessica Hart is the goddess of sweet romance.

I wouldn't mind reading the other story in the Bridegroom Boss series. Cute entirely predictable romance.
