Available now in board book format for the youngest of kids.
Natalie pulled this off the shelf at the library, so we took it home. She generally likes book with photographs of kids and babies. I liked the word selection for this book since the words were things kids are actually interested in or deal with daily (well, except for X-ray, but really what are you going to put for X?).
My son seemed to like this book, actually he chose it from the librarian's feature table in the children's section. It wasn't my favorite ABC book, but with the photographs, it was a different, realistic way to look at alphabet words.
This book had great pictures to illustrate each letter. Each page had a great look to it and they were all very unique. These unique pictures help to make the alphabet more exciting for the children.
My 4 year old and I have read a LOT of ABC books and this was a pretty good one. The pics were all of kids and the letter items were different than your norm but still all stuff she'd know and understand.
Children love looking at other children. Their curiousity is so refreshing. I love the pictures of kids in this book. All kinds of kids from all different backgrounds.
