I decided to take a college course for fun and this was the textbook that was used. It was interesting not only to read about the factual aspect for each drug described with the affects, but the book also covered some history behind some of the drugs. Interesting read if you want to learn more about drugs and alcohol.

While it’s full of information and easy to read (for a textbook), it is dull...nothing new or exciting in it. Not anything I was shocked or surprised by. Just...well...information...

Incredibly biased with a focus on the conservative side. Too many generalizations for my taste, especially as a textbook.
