Loving it Eamon, but I don't have a clue how this all is gonna rap-up in the up and coming 'grand finale'?

Are you sure that you don't need another couple? Ah go on...

Part 5: Countdown brings our two protagonists together in a reunion of the worst kind, weaving parallel stores into a shocking narrative that sets the stage for the finale. With each installment, Ambrose has crammed more and more robo-fueled post-apocalyptic entertainment into the Zero Hour powder keg. The fuse has been lit.

Zero Hour Part 5: Countdown by Eamon Ambrose is a futurisic, dystopian short story which begins where Part 4, Survivors stopped. It is action-packed and a crazy post-apocalyptic world.

I gave it five stars.

Sarah found Alex with Dr. Mayberry. "'It's the only long term chance of survival, and the fastest way to make it happen.

Rebuild, then repopulate. There's no other way. Our priority right now is finding the rest of the survivors and getting them to the facility."

It ended with a cliff-hanger. Aaargh! I want MORE, please.

Another installment. Another triumph.

We're back again for the 5th installment of the Zero Hour series by indie author, Eamon Ambrose. And like its predecessors, it did not disappoint.

Ever describe something to your friends as, "it just keeps getting better"? Well, no better example than Zero Hour 1-5 (and there's more to come, woopa!)

The perfect little lunchtime escape, ZH5 slathers us in emotion, action, shock and humor in, what could end up being, one of the best Sci-Fi anthologies that I, for one, have ever had the pleasure of reading.

Maintaining character depth from one installment to the next is no easy task, I'd imagine. But they remain as engaging and as unique as ever. They flow.

We see heartfelt companionship. We see the trademark banter. We see outright chaos. And we see unexpected abomination. All wrapped up in a bow of sublime description.

"You scan the area, watching the crimson clouds tumble across the sky like blood through water, backlit by the rising sun."

It'll be hard to say goodbye to these characters when the time comes. But...oh, boy!...what a ride it has been!
