Brief look at Jefferson Davis' life.

Good book for research, no everyday reading material though.
Summary: This book is about the life of Jefferson Davis. It gives information on his early life and military career. There is also information about his early career, his second marriage and family, and his return to politics. It also talks about how he became president of the Confederate States of America.
How to use this book with students: This book is geared towards 6th through 8th graders, so it can easily be used to get background information on Jefferson Davis if they were going to write a paper about him.
