Even though I understand why he did it, James (and, in turn, Team Rocket) pretending to be nice like that was really creepy. I was glad when he finally told his grandparents the truth in the end.

I love Pokemon so much, both the episode this book is based on and the book, are both great! I would recommend this to anyone who likes Pokemon.

A lot of the boys in my class are really into Pokemon, so I checked out the first chapter book to see if it was something we could read in class. While I'm happy to say we can, the book was your typically chapter book written for children - plain, boring writing with really choppy moments. BUT, despite my general dislike for books like these, I might use this in my reading arsenal for the future. We'll see.

I like that a lot of Pokemon that have good powers are in there. I like that there's an elephant Pokemon and he looks beautiful. I like the title. I like the front and the back of the book. I like that there's a clown Pokemon and I like that there's all kinds of Pokemon . . . even water types and even grass types and even fire types and even lightning types.
