I loved this book, but Benji will enjoy it more when he's a little bit older - he didn't understand tracing the paths with his finger, no matter how we tried to demo it for him. But give him another year and I'm sure he'll be all over it! He did love the trucks, and the peek through circles on each page were fun too.

M thought this was a lot of fun, because she likes trucks (especially the garbage truck...this book featured a recycling truck, which she also enjoyed). She doesn't fully understand the "follow the path" aspect of the book, yet, but she enjoys pointing to the different trucks.

Heather had a bit of a hard time following the trails -- she's still working on hand-eye coordination. But she loved all the little trucks, and learning where they were going. She's deep in a truck and tractor phase.

Kiddo loved it and liked the shiny path but his mechanic daddy wanted to critique that backhoes and front-end-loaders aren’t trucks lol

*** I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Run, don't walk to get a copy of this book. The first thing my two year old son said when he saw this books was "Wow Mom, is that book for me? It looks so shiny and fun, I want to read it right now." And read it we did, many many times. The first few times through the book he would ask us to trace the lines and he would put his hand on top of ours. After the third time he announced "I got this" and began to trace the glittery lines of the paths that each truck would take across the pages. The words and graphics kept his interest in addition to the bright and glittery trails. Each time we read the book was a new adventure for him as he would make up additional stories and ask questions about what each truck was doing and its upcoming destination.

This book would be a wonderful addition to any library for children 2-5 years old.

My 4 year old still takes this book out regularly to read before bed. It’s more of a game than a book, tracing paths from the fire truck to the cat stuck in the tree or the tow truck to the garage. Tracing the circles squares and triangles. I wouldn’t think it would hold its interest for so long but at least for my son this is a favorite.
