A fun engaging book! My five month old loves looking at these pictures, and honestly so do I. We have already “read” it many times. (There isn’t a story, mostly just pictures with some moveable parts, and sound effects).
I was also delighted to see tapirs featured in the book, since they are pretty rare in children’s books and we had just seen them at the zoo!

My 16mo LOVED this book. He was laughing by page 2. One of the sliders confused me and we hardly spent any time touching the animals (those markings were too small and indistinct). But the sliders were a huge hit and the noises were great

What a fun and engaging read. I read this book during an adult book club for which I didn’t read the book. This book was a quick read (did it in a day) and it gave me the confidence I needed to go read my book club book.

Little guy and I loved this one! It's bright and colorful, and there's lots in each picture. Also, there's built in "slides" that you can use your finger to move back and forth, "animating" the pictures. A small word of warning though: the slides tear a little more easily than the board book pages. I now owe my library damaged book fees.... (totally worth it for all the joy this book has brought my little one)
