The kids pick this book because it looks interesting and fun. It does have good and interesting pictures and the board book pages make it kid-friendly for all ages. The story is a cut and dried, straightforward version of the crucifixion and resurrection and not all that engaging to read. Most of my kids wanted to read this more than one time though. It's ok and good enough to read several times but not something that I will be keeping on my shelf now that all the kids have read it.

A simple, okay telling of major events from Mark 11-16. There is not much depth regarding the significance of the events, just mainly a straightforward summary. After the story, there are 5 basic review questions included to ask children.
