Sumura Takeru, now known as Brahms, is on track to become a full-fledged "magia," a wizard who battles demons with musical powers. But Beethoven discovers some shocking details about Brahms' past and throws him out, leaving Brahms to wander the city streets alone. Confused and hurt, Brahms falls prey to the power of Mozart, who awakens a terrible force within him. Will Beethoven be able to reclaim Brahms' soul before his destructive power lays waste to the entire city?
I really enjoyed part 2 of a fun duology - it's such a shame the story had to end here as I can see potential with this.. It would have made a great extended series. Just as funny and action packed as the first one, however more questions are answered here. For someone who doesn't read a lot of manga I found this was a lot of fun to get into..
It's a shame this ends here, because there turned out to be an interesting back story about Brahms and we never really learn why Mozart turned to the dark side. This series had potential, but essentially was cut off before it had a chance to bloom.
SO SAD THAT THIS GOT DISCONTINUED. This was such a fun series. And this volume introduced so much cool lore!! I loved knowing Brahms' backstory, but I'm sad we never got into the issues between Mozart and Beethoven. This was so delightful :))
It was okay - it's a duology but seems like it ended unceremoniously. Lots of loose threads and unanswered questions. The concept was cool and the characters were interesting but I really wanted to know more about Belial and Brahms' connection. Ultimately a disappointing end.
I loved this one too. I enjoyed Brahms' backstory about his parents. I enjoyed him awakening to his powers. I just wish the story was longer. I had questions that still weren't answered at the end.
