Jessica Clare's Dirty Money is the title of the first book of her Roughneck Billionaires Series. Lisa Renee Jones' Dirty Money is part of her Dirty Money series. Although Goodreads does not list the other books in the Roughneck Billionaires series, I can only assume that the other books will include Boone Price's brothers. Jones' Dirty Money series shows 4 books: Hard Rules #1, Damage Control #2, Bad Deeds #3, End Game #4. Hope that helps!(less)

She needs pretty words? I’ll give her pretty words. She needs flowers and jewelry? I’ll give her those, too. She needs my face between her legs? I’ll fucking tongue her for hours on end and love every moment of it.

Sometimes I read the word "roughneck" in a blurb and my ovaries go all MINE. And there comes a time in a girl's life where she has to appease her ovaries, right? Even if smutty, insta-love romance isn't normally her thing, she'll make an exception for a bearded and dirty

When my co-blogger told me about this book I couldn't stop thinking about it. I wanted to read it so badly! So what did I find when I started it? An enjoyable, super hot, quick and sweet story.

Boone is my favorite billionaire! He is hot, possessive, bossy, protective and sweet. He will do whatever is needed to make the girl he wants happy.

The story is generally a little bit over the top and there were moments I found it a little crazy for me but this didn't stop me from loving it!

"Put those pretty feet over my shoulders, Ivy, and I'll lick you until you scream."

So who needs me to tell them how much I enjoyed this book? I mean the quote speaks for itself, doesn't it? This book was highly entertaining, it had humour, an alpha male with a soft heart, a very likable heroine and some really hot smut scenes. I mean what more could a girl ask for? Especially one like me. I read roughneck billionaires and I one-clicked.

For the romance lovers who are tired of the same old CEO billionaire in a suit stories the wait for a new and unconventional kind of rich bad boy is over. Wonderfully well written and executed by Jessica Clare (yup, the same author who brought reality TV to romance novels), Dirty Money shakes up the billionaire genre with its very unique brand of hero. I was fascinated by Boone Price’s brash and uncouth nature and charmed with his and Ivy’s romance.

So I'm eating humble pie right now because first I didn't really like Boone. He was so much rougher around the edges than I could ever imagine, and I didn't him appealing at all. But Jessica Clare worked her magic once again, and I found myself rooting for him.

Boone Price is a roughneck who has a knack for dowsing oil. He and his brothers hit the jackpot when they found oil on their land and they became billionaires overnight. Boone has the money but he couldn't quite shake the redneck, trailer-

Boone Price and his brother know oil like the back of their hand, and either by pure luck and chance, they struck gold with a oil well in the west of Texas. Now they have money in the billions. Boone is a roughneck, always has dirt and oil on him and doesn't care one whit for formalities or suits. But it soon becomes apparent he might need to polish his image a bit. But then he sees an ad of a realtor, a woman that is classy

Dirty Money was a quick, a little over the top romance and I really enjoyed it.
In the beginning I wasn't too sure what to think of Boone, he was a little too rough for my tastes but the more I kept reading, I saw a man who would do anything for his loved ones and when he falls in love he falls hard!
Watching Boone court Ivy had me swooning one min and rolling my eyes the next. He made me laugh with his antics and I loved how he didn't stop until he got what he wanted.

I enjoyed this start to a brand new series by Ms. Clare. I like to think of this as obsessive (ok mildly stalker-y) love done right. It’s probably not the healthiest and it’s definitely alot of insta-love with a possessive, protective dirty talkin’ alpha, but Boone never goes completely creepy, and Ivy knows when to push back. Yes, there are some dumb bunny moves, but overall, I enjoyed myself and I’d recommend it if you’re in the mood for a roughneck hero.

Kitty's review:

I am not sure if Jessica Clare set off to make this book as humorous as it turned out to be but, she sure had me laughing and loving one Boone Price.

Boone … redneck, straight-forward, billionaire with a flair to bring things to the extreme. He tells it like it is and, when you piss him off … you better hide the matches. He had me laughing and cheering him on. His ways of handling the “suits” and those that thought they were better than him were classic. If there ever was a man th

Surprisingly wasn't the biggest fan of this since I love Jessica Clare's billionaire books. I just didn't like the main characters and couldn't connect well with any part of the story. Full review to come.

Thanks to the publisher for generously providing me an ARC to review.
I don't know why I forgot how much I enjoy Jessica Clare's books; but I did!! I am very pleased that I decided to bump this before other reads, as I really did like this one! My only complaint would be from Ivy the heroine. She began to make me angry with her decision to keep lying about who she was to Boone. I'm getting ahead of myself though.

A newly-minted billionaire with a chip on his shoulder because he feels that he hasn't been treated right sets off to find a classy woman to marry. He decides based almost on a whim, after seeing a woman on a real estate brochure that she is the one for him and somehow manages to fall in instant-love with her, even if she's carrying off a certain kind of deception of her own.

I couldn't quite decide if I was more disturbed by the idea (that sounded pretty much like a mail-order bride) or stunned
There are times when I love a bad boy hero, a hero that is demanding, possessive, and sexy as sin. In DIRTY MONEY, I did NOT get that kind of hero. Boone Price did absolutely NOTHING for me. He we crude, pompous, and bordering on sexist, as was every other male character in this book. Yes, he had his 'gentle' moments with Ivy, but I didn't feel the deep connection between these two. I know there was an underlying message in this romance, but I think it fell flat, along with our two main characte ...more

The hero just did not do it for me. Way too concerned about what others think. Too many lies between them. I love this author but this

Also, the narrator went nuts with the accent. And he did NOT nail it. It was not a Texas accent. Maybe Mississippi or Alabama, but not Texas. It was disconcerting.

Dirty Money(Roughneck Billionaires #1) by Jessica Clare is a fun time read if you can suspend your disbelief and not be annoyed by the massive miscommunication on the part of the heroine during the entire story. It would have been so easy for the heroine to be honest with the hero right from the start, but she kept secrets about her past and current life from the very understanding hero just to keep the story going, and to cause heartache to separate the couple, and then give them HEA we all wan ...more

Dirty Money.

Whew boy! Boone. Yall. He's something.

A roughneck who struck oil and turned overnight billionaire. Mischievous, arrogant, maybe a little crazy and a whole lot stubborn and rocking a chip on his shoulder. He was a trip. And perfectly matched with Ivy. A realtor with attitude, a pile of debt, the weight of the world on her shoulders and just enough pig pigheadedness to match his stubborn streak.

I am totally excited about this new series from Jessica Clare. I don't read a ton of contemporary romance, but this one piqued my interest. Roughneck Billionaires, y'all! Not the polished hoity toity money bags born with silver spoons in their mouth... but good ol' country boys that work hard and play hard and aren't afraid to get down and dirty in the boardroom or the bedroom. Yes, please!

When I think of billionaire romance stories, this was not the scenario that comes to mind. And see, that was what was so appealing about Dirty Money. Dirty Money breaks the romance book rules for me in many ways, but I ended up not caring so much about that when all was said and done.

This was a different and interesting take on the billionaire trope. There are certain aspects of the billionaire novels that have to be present. They have to be insanely rich, they have to be willing to spend their money on the women they are with, and the money has to be part of their world but it can't be all of the personalty of the billionaire.

This book had all of this and it did it fairly well. Boone is a self-made billionaire. And o

I started this book right after midnight this morning and finished it at 2 AM. It was worth the Monday hangover. I loved the concept of the story, and both the hero and heroine. It's hard not to like Boone. He's hard working, up front, and just a little over bearing. He may have come from nothing, but now he's got more money than he knows what to do with it. Ivy on the other hand, is doing everything in her power to make things better for herself and her younger sister. She's been doing so quite ...more

This was SO FUNNY ! This was like a modern day version of the Beverly Hillbillies tv sitcom, except that there were 5 brothers instead of Jed, Granny, Jethro and Ellie Mae. Boone, the H, is the oldest brother and acts like the patriarch of this very interesting and supremely humorous clan of brothers. They've also gotten to be billionaires in the same way- oil. There's even one brother who is the only one that dresses up in Armani, Gucci and other designer clothing; this brother reminded me of h ...more

You know all those billionaire romance stories out there where the schmaltzy rich dude falls for the plain Jane and woos her with fancy dinners, expensive gifts, sweet words, and prowess in the bedroom?

Well... one of those definitely applies to Dirty Money. Otherwise, all bets are off.

This book surprised me, it is also the first Jessica Clare book I ever read and I must say that I loved it.
It was funny, sweet, a bit weird a bit unexpected, but it was good

Boone Price is a total hillbilly, the only difference is, is that he's a billionaire. And that is the problem, because of the way he looks and talks, people don't take him serious and don't respect him.
So he needs to change that, and that means finding him a classy lady (and not ne

Let me start off by saying I like my characters a little more polished - and Boone was as far from polished as you can get. I didn’t read the synopsis of any of these stories, knew it was an author I previously read and liked, so of course I started reading it at one in the morning when I couldn’t get into the other story I was reading. I won’t lie, I was very tempted to put it down almost immediately after starting it, but I forced myself to continue. I had to set aside all my bias and prejudic ...more

Dudes. This book is SO GOOD, you have no idea.

I'm grinning from ear to ear, thinking about Boone Price, dirty, rugged roughnecking redneck. And billionaire. Because, DUDES, he's so awesome. He's insistent, persistent and way, way over the top. He's total scruffy alpha with a heart of gold, and his insecurities are completely charming. Frankly, they made me want to
