Exciting conclusion to such a mystery. I admit that my guess as to Who Dun It? changed with every scene.
Even after the culprit was revealed I kept expecting someone else to come out of the woodwork as an accomplice. Good job Vanessa keeping me guessing.
This was my favorite Episode. It fulfilled my greed for romance...lol.
I must also say that after this book...I never want to read another character named Cynthia. This was my first book with a character that shared my name and I could almost cry every time I saw my name associated with this characters actions. Yikes.
WOW...this is a story that would have been better if condensed into one book. The violent part and mental illness and murders were just way too much for an enjoyable read. Lots of repeating feelings about the main couple and their marital problems and not much joy at all within 4 full books. Really frustrated ....stretching the story out like the author did.
This was an exciting story with complex characters. Good thing it was on KU so that I was able to continue the story to the end. The love and trust that grew between Barrington and Amora as the tale continued with the love of God was heart warming. Also the change in Amora's mother was notable and other characters also brought out their good qualities. There is even hope for Cynthia. Thank you for the additional history notes.
My goodness. The series put me through so much that I'm rather speechless by now. But I enjoyed every winding, pulsing minute along the way to this fitting ending--an imperfect and glorious ending to a tale of suspense and searching, doubt and faith, darkness and light, anguish and love.
Its minor flaws aside, the series is such a must-read for fans of Regency ChristFic. I look forward to reading this author again.
Wow! An exciting conclusion! I loved every minute of this great read. Talk about beautiful writing that touches the soul. Kudos to Vanessa Riley. Write on!
Barrington and Amora Norton risk it all to bring the Dark Walk Abductor to justice. I was all over those court scenes as judge, juror, and lawyer. When I thought I had the Dark Walk Abductor all figured out, I was wrong. Eventually when I found out who he was, I was very surprised.
Okay, I like the Vicar again. Thought he was a third wheel but he was only trying to help. Albeit, I think he secretly likes Amora. The most delightful part of the story was the revival of the love between Barrington and Amora. YAY!
I loved how the novel was “sprinkled” with scriptures and hymns. Truly, enjoyed this fascinating serial. Looking forward to reading more of Vanessa Riley’s books. Highly recommended! Grab your copy!
