I'm Not Sleepy

Rate this book
A Little Golden Book about bedtime that every parent and kid will relate to. Makes for perfect bedtime reading!

It's bedtime for a precocious little fox in this endearing and humorous Little Golden Book. Unforunately, little fox has far more energy than father fox has bargained for. Featuring delightfully warm illustrations and a story that captures all the rambunctious qualites of bedtime, I'm Not Sleepy will make a perfect addition to your own little one's nighttime routine.

Essentially, this is the Little Golden Books version of "Go the F*** to Sleep." A fox dad is growing more and more exhausted as he tries to get his little one to stop bouncing and go to bed, going through the ritual of bedtime drinks, stories, songs, extra blankets . . .

A cute bedtime story about about a little fox that tries to "outfox" his father into letting him stay up a little longer.

A little fox's bedtime routine is so prolonged (and filled with procrastination techniques) that he eventually wears his father and himself out.

Very true to life. Anyone who has kids or who has babysat will identify with this. At least the little fox doesn't outright fight going to bed, he's very pleasant about it even if he is tricky.

This is a cute book(and very good for a Golden Book), but a little short!
I can relate to the exhausted parent falling asleep instead of the child at the end of bedtime routine.

I liked this book. This book is an easy read I think kids would like i5 but parents won’t because it talks about a kid not wanting to go to bed.
